This is the only garlic bread my family will eat! It has just the perfect blend of butter and spices and all of that is nicely blanketed by a layer of cheeses. Its easy to prepare and ready in no time (it takes longer to heat your oven than it does to make it) and your whole family will be asking for more!
Pepperidge Farm Frozen Garlic Bread is convenient. I like the taste of this garlic cheese bread but have picked up after making it for quite some time that I have to correct the way I cook it. Directions say to cook in the oven until the bread turns golden brown, but my bread never toasted up. The top layer of butter and garlic was hot but tasted undercooked because it was still soft. So I use different directions. I cook the bread as directed, then swap my oven to broiler for the last three minutes. This works really well and the top and bottom of the bread is crispy and the butter and garlic are warm. My husband really likes this bread, and it goes great with virtually any meal. Very affordable and easy to keep stored until you need it. I like this brand and most of the other products that they make. I would recommend this to others as an addition to their suppers but especially on spaghetti night.
Expensive!!! The flavors are the only great thing about this product and that's it. The bread itself gets so hard after cooking it... Most of it goes in the garbage.
Aweful! Waste of money. Horrible texture, tastes like oil and garlic powder not a good taste. Bad flavor and awful mouth feel. Slight stomach ache after, icky feeling. I can't get the awful taste out of my mouth or off my mind. DO NOT BUY you will be sorry.
I absolutely love garlic bead. This is easily the nastiest bread I have ever tasted in my life. I don't know how but it has a fishy taste to it. My husband agreed it's horrible, we threw the whole thing out. So disappointed.
This used to be a staple in our house even as the quality went down. The loaf is so tiny now and yet twice the price it was last year. In addition they have added the carcinogen sodium benzoate which wasn't present last year either. They had to add this poison because of the cheaper margarine they use as a spread. This product will never be served to my family again.
