Works great. Dogs stopped barking at every neighbor and animal walking by.
I was apprehensive about the product but after we installed I love it! Works really well, dog responded well
I bought this after I had tried bark collars that just didn't work for us. My dogs only bark outside and it's annoying for my neighbors. We have a dog door but with the constant barking we had to regulate them more. After we hung this up outside it took them a day or two but they figured it out. They will still bark once or twice if they can see the neighbors but that's it.
Awesome product! It took care of our 2 dogs barking on the second bark. We don't leave it on all of the time, only when the dogs begin to bark. Last week, we recommended the product to one of our neighbors. They ordered one right away and they told us yesterday that it has helped their barking problem immensely.
I love it. My dogs were used to being in a small home with fenced in yard they ripped and barked when they wanted. If any one came they knew they were they were our guest. Because of health and age I moved closer to my daughter and her family. My dogs were in a whole new life. They barked at every one and were wearing me down. They just didn't understand. I don't like the collars. My daughter told me about this. It was more than I wanted to spend but I am so happy with it. Within the first day it worked. It is still tried out at times but this is a miracle for me! I can sa for sure you won't be disappointed!
So far, this thing is worth its weight in gold! We have a 3yo german shepherd and a 1yo pitbull mix who love to bark all day long at the neighbors' yappy little white dog. The neighbors' dog is definitely an active participant (and sometimes instigator, I think), but our dogs' barks carry much father throughout the neighborhood. They had fallen into this barking routine so thoroughly that our dogs have blazed a dirt path through the grass to the far back corner of our yard - every time they go outside, they beeline to their favorite barking corner. Our dogs have constant access to the back yard through their dog door, so I can only image how much they have been driving all of our neighbors crazy while we are away at work. On my mother-in-law's recommendation (shout-out to useful advice from MILs!), I purchased this device and hung it on the back fence in that corner 6 days ago, facing along the side fence towards the house, to cover the specific area along the fence that they love to bark at. I kept it on the lowest setting (15 ft range), since I don't want to deter our dogs from their normal play (roughhousing) in the rest of the yard. From day 1, the incessant barking has stopped!! I might hear 1-2 isolated barks per day from our boys, but the device seems to nip it in the bud almost immediately. A bonus is that the neighbor dog doesn't seem to want to go anywhere near that corner anymore, so no more yapping either. Our clever german shepherd might be starting to figure out the range of the device, since he now seems to park himself ~20 feet closer to the house, away from the device, but still isn't barking much. The funny thing is that the pitbull mix seems to have realized that the back corner is now a 'harassment free' zone from his brother, and seems to be using it as a quiet space to zen out in! I may need to kick the range setting up a notch if the GSD gets wise and starts barking again from his new spot, but so far I am loving this thing. Can't speak to battery life yet, since it's only been 6 days, but I purchased a rechargeable 9V battery set to keep it humming.
this works extremely well I've never had anything that works as well however the price they have raised it to as well beyond the quality of the product. the retail value of this product is about $35. and that's the high end. I paid 37.89 for the exact same product from the same company.
I lost A LOT of sleep due to the 2-5am barking sessions of the large dogs next door before resorting to purchasing this device. I tried pleading for mercy with the neighbors but they didn't care. The device works fairly well but you should know a few things. The instructions state that “the device should be positioned at a height of no more than 5 feet” and that “the area between the device and the dog should be free of any large obstacles”. Well, there's a six foot wooden privacy fence between the neighbor's barking dogs and my bedroom window so I had no choice but to hang the device in a tree next to the fence at a height of seven feet in order to clear the fence. The device had no effect on the dogs until I angled the device downward so that the microphone was pointed toward the middle of my neighbor's yard. After that I observed that the dogs would bark as usual before abruptly stopping. I also noticed that the device is not equally effective on both dogs. One of the dogs is much more sensitive to it than is the other. The dogs are both young so it's not a hearing issue. I had read about this problem in other consumer reviews. Also, if the dogs come right up to the fence the microphone does not seem to detect the barking. I wonder about the microphone's cone of reception. All said, it's sad that I had to spend forty dollars in order to get some sleep but I'm glad that I bought this device. It has improved the situation. The dogs still bark sometimes but they stop pretty quickly and seem to avoid unnecessary barking. Keep the batteries fresh :-) and good luck to you!

This item does not work!! I bought this item, because new neighbors moved in with 3 large dogs. I have 2 cocker's myself. Well, didn't have a problem before, but now my dogs, and the neighbor dogs are very vicious to each other!! I thought this might help, but NO!! Have tried all settings, and nothing works, for my or neighbors dogs!! Complete waste of time and money!!!
