I’ve had many such trimmers over the years, usually with a spinning cutter inside a sleeve. The Norelco 5100 is entirely different. It’s like the difference between a a high speed standard electric shaver and a rotary blade model. This is a Norelco version of a standard shaver. It cuts closer. It cuts more precisely. It cuts with less pull and greater comfort. I tested it on a few hairs on my arm just to watch and – wow – what a cutter. Norelco calls it “ProtecTube technology”. Where you place the majestic humming wand is where it cuts; in the nose and ears and all around the edges. This doesn't even mention all the other quick-change attachments for eyebrows, sideburns, neck and other areas of personal grooming distinction (the place where people size up your grooming). There are 2 eyebrow length trimmers, a hair trimmer, and a beard cutter as well as a custom cam for the tip and a brush for the component trimmers. It comes with a good quality AA lithium battery to get things well started. If used on a frequent basis, I’m sure rechargeable LI or NIMH will give you all the life you need at bargain basement prices; probably as well as standard Alkaline which may not last as long but can be bought at sales in quantity and have 10 year shelf life. . The design and usability is excellent, the motor is powerful and the attachments are handy. This All-in-One unit means no more trimmers, just change heads. Complete and very easily rinsing off of components used under a hot tap will keep the unit clean and sanitary. Also included is a nice carry bag for the extras and a set of good, easy to read instructions that label the components and give safety and utility instructions.
When I first was looking through the items offered for review, the Norelco Trim and Shape clipper immediately caught my eye. My husband has used a couple different clippers over the years to trim his facial hair and had never been very pleased with either of them. When he resorted to tweezers, I knew he had to try the Norelco. When it arrived, his first impression was how well it is made. There are a few attachments and they seem to be very well made as well, unlike his prior trimmers which could only be described as cheaply made. My first impression of the trimmer was that there was a 45 day money back guarantee and a full 2 year warranty which is very nice. I also liked that it is easy to clean, washable and comes with a handy carrying case, making it much easier for travel or just general storage. It takes much less space in a drawer. So my husband's first use of the Norelco was a success. He said it was very easy to use, worked well on all areas of his facial hair from his mustache and eyebrows and he neatly trimmed his sideburns, something our regular hair trimmer could not do to his satisfaction. This seems to be a very nice, handy and durable product. I would definitely recommend!
I waited until it had been used with ALL the add-ons - I was really skeptical when it arrived. It really is WASHABLE! Now my husband has now used ALL the add-ons & I used it to trim up my long eyebrow hairs. It never tugged like other trimmers, it has a lithium battery that comes with it, & it still is running at full power. This is simplicity at its finest. It has a VERY narrow head on it so nose hairs are trimmed, & no Tugging! The sideburn trimmer / shaver works really well with a close to the skin trim like a full size shaver - without the worry over over shaving the area. The only down side is the directions. Just save yourself, just use the diagrams. And it really can be cleaned with water not just the brush that comes with it. And it is balanced, it feels "right" no matter if my hubs big hand or my smaller one is using it. I'm hoping we will be able to buy replacement heads when these dull down, otherwise I will definitely buy one. This will be a stocking stuffer this year!
I was given the opportunity to use and review the Philips Norelco Nose Trimmer Kit. My husband is the one who actually used it and he absolutely loves it. When it came in it was very well packaged and wasn’t too hard to get out. It comes with the trimmer, 2 eyebrow combs, a beard comb, neck and sideburn trimmer, a cap and a cleaning brush and they all fit into a nice little drawstring bag for storage. The trimmer is powered by twisting the base. My husband has used this on his nose, ears, eyebrows, neck and edged out his goatee. He has not had any pulls or nicks so far. It’s fairly quiet too, not near as loud as his old one. I personally used it to trim up his neck line and it’s comfortable to hold and is very precise. The angled head allows for it to be more comfortable while using on the nose and ears. The trimmer is fully submersible for easy and thorough cleanup which is great for sanitary reasons. Another plus to this trimmer is that it comes with a full 2 year warranty. The only negative, which isn’t really a terrible thing would be that it’s not rechargeable. The battery that came with it is still going strong, but it would be more appealing if it was just rechargeable. Other than that it’s a great little trimmer and will be well used.
This personal trimmer is not only a very close and comfortable trimmer but also very attractive on your counter with a stainless bottom and black top. It has a non-slip black handle. It has excellent attachments for trimming around your hairline or face and so easy to detach and clean with running water as well. The nose trimmer portion could also be used for trimming around men's ears. The shape of the nose trimmer is elongated so it is much easier to use and turn in the nose as it slants slightly to make it more comfortable for your nose. My husband loves it! It's battery operated so very easy to move around or travel with.

It is now ready when you are ready again. It also comes with a convenient easy to use storage bag for when it is not being used. I would recommend this product to family and friends.
Today I'm going to review The Phillips Norelco Nose Hair Trimmer, It Comes in a small box with a lot of options. When I opened the box. and took the trimmer out of the box. I looked at the trimmer . It's about six inches long. The trimmer measures about three and a half inches around witch means it sets comfortably in the palm of your hand. It's black and silver, Silver on the bottom and black on the top. It also has a black rubber back with a sure grip and wont fall out of your hand while using it. When I turn it on I only hear a small buzzing noise. It's very quiet and I only feel a small vibration in the handle. You twist the bottom on the trimmer handle to turn it on and off. The handle separates to change the battery. This product runs on one double AA Battery. The battery is also lithium for extra long life. There's a clear plastic top for storing the trimmer and keeping it dust free. There's an attachable head for the trimmer you can put a bear comb For trimming you beard and sideburns with ease This product also comes with two eyebrow combs. One short and one long for trimming you eyebrows This product come with a cleaning brush for cleaning. Last of all The Phillips Norelco Nose Hair Trimmer comes with a carry bag for on the go. What I really like about this trimmer. It has a dual cut technology, It wont snag or pull hairs. Cleaning of the trimmer is important to keep it functioning at peak performance. I really like this trimmer. I have been using one for years and I did not realize how dull the blades were until I used this one. This cuts exceptionally well. Especially when trimming my beard and mustache. I also like how well the attachments work and the little bag to keep everything in. This is an excellent value for the money. I would highly recommend this to any man with facial hair.
The Philips Norelco Nose Trimmer is definitely worth the price. The trimmer is about six inches long and is thin enough that you can hold it in your hand comfortably and be able to maneuver it. It does not make a loud buzzing noise while on and only a small vibration. It comes with a silky gray pouch to carry it and any other accessories you may need to take it for travel or storage. It comes with four different attachments, a beard comb, cap and AA battery. All parts are washable and very easily able to clean which should be done after each use. To turn the trimmer on and off you just have to twist the bottom. This feature doesn't allow it to be accidentally turned on. It also comes with a 2 year warranty. I have had trimmers stop working before the 2 year mark and if it happens to this one then you have the opportunity to replace it, smart plus for a consumer.
I like this trimmer. Phillips Norelco Nose/Trimmer. It was easy to put together. It has a lithium battery, my experience they last a lng time. It comes with 2 different size combs for your eyebrows, start with larger one so you do not trim your brow to short, I found the sm aller one was perfect for myself. It also has attaachment for you sideburns makes trimming really simple, works freat on goatees, and beards. Then the main function is to trim nose hairs, here it reallly works just as expected, at first it tickles alittle , but feels real safe to use, gets those hairs nice and ckean. And also has a protective sheath, and a good comb to help clean after use, It has a nice grey pouch to keep in when not in use, It is small enough you can easily carry it with you to the gym, in your gym bag. or on any trips out of town, will not take much room in your overnite bags. It is handy and simple to use
