Picture quality is Very Good. Reception from the small extendable antenna is very good. Sound quality is OK but could be better. The internal rechargeable batteries allow you to watch for hours This is a great little back up TV for camping or power outages. Easy to set up and watch in your back yard or basement, fits nicely in a backpack. You must see this TV in operation to fully appreciate it. I would recommend this product.
I love this little portable tv, It picked up every channel in my area and was easy to use. If you want a portable tv at a great price, this ones for you!
This is the third portable TV I purchased. The two previous ones were a complete disappointment. Once I plug this TV and turned it on, I was in love with it. I have a big screen LCD in my bedroom and this little one has the same picture quality if not better. And sound, OMG, this is one of the best purchases that I have done this year. Once you turn it on ( the first time) it loads up all the channels, if their signals are strong. This little one picked up 37 channels, without cable, just using the antenna provided. Great for my kitchen, I will not be missing my favorites programs anymore while I do my dishes or cook. Great little TV !!!! Very happy with it.
I bought one for my mother who missed having a small tv on her kitchen counter. It worked great. I bought a second one for myself.
the picture is crystal. however, in my area, i can only pick up only one public broadcasting station. in my area, (new york metro) a pre-amp antenna might be needed. other that that, top-notch!!!!!
My portable TV from Philips is great. It works better than I expected. Now I can watch sports any where I want. It is easy to carry and easy to use. I also will be able to watch TV when the power is out so I keep it charged as I do my phone.
Very clear picture. I was able to get 28 stations. But could only get one local channel, WISH-TV. Might be able to get more local channels if I was located in the city. Would make a great little TV for the kitchen or next to the bed. Already digital, so you don't need to buy anything extra. Cable ready.
I was looking to replace a 13 inch tv in my kitchen and couldnt find a tv small enough for my little kitchen. An associate at your store told me about this 9 inch tv. I took it home and was amazed at how clear the picture was. The only 2 thing I am dissapointed about is the antenna...the base is a bit small and to turn the tv on you have to use the switch on the tv. The remote does not have a power button. Overall I am very happy with this product.
I bought this tv in 2010....The picture quality and overall feel of the product is great...I'm very satisfied
