Bought this shelving unit for my laundry room to store my excess supply of toilet paper, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and interior paint. It looks great and holds everything! Heading out to buy more today for everything else that is crowding my house to have it organized once and for all. Nice large shelf for less than $20!! Can't beat that!!!
Needed shelving for an outdoor shed. Shelving needed to not rust and be able to hold garden tools, fertilizer, etc. This was a "special buy" at $19 each and could not have been a better choice. Very easy and convenient to have shipped to local Walmart for pick up.
I bought this shelving unit to organize my daughter's toys - much cheaper than advertised toy organizers! I assembled it into two small units instead of one tall unit. It works perfectly for holding her loose toys and baskets. I was very pleased that the small laundry baskets you can buy in the store for $2.50 fit two-across perfectly on the shelves. However, I would recommend looking for a sturdier product if you want to store heavier items on the shelves. They are a bit flimsy, but for our use, they work just fine. Assembly is a breeze!
I bought this to put in my kitchen so I can have more counter space and store miscellaneous items on it. The only issue I have with it is that even though I have the heavier stuff on the bottom it still is wobbily. I suggets put all the heavier items on the bottom 2 shelves like 24 packs of bottled water and 12 packs of soda. I have my microwave on the third shelve and seems to be ok right there. I have seen some that are 5 shelves and 72 inches in height and I could only image how wobbily those are as I would stick to the 4 shelve ones. For what I paid for this I am happy that I bought it, now I have more counter space I can use to prepare dinner and wash and dry my dishes on.
It is a little shakier that an had anticipated. It was quite wobbly at first on my carpet, but has since settled in. Definitely need to consider weight of objects when loading. Decent product for lightweight storage shelving.
This is a good shelf when I finally received one that was not damaged.
I purchased this to store canned goods and grocery items. It did not give the weight specs on-line. When I received it the box said 300 lb. limit or 75 lb. per shelf which seemed ok. However, one of the shlelves began to split with much less than 75 lb. so it is not as sturdy as I hoped.
I purchased 4 units. 1 was broken when it showed up at the store. The others were OK but not really what I had hoped for. They are not very sturdy and I doubt they will hold the weight advertized.
Perhaps I'm spoiled by my previous order of the Plano teal 4 tier shelf. For $19 they were a bargain. But I needed more shelves and WalMart no longer stocked the teal version. So my second order where the white ones. What a dissapointment. New out of the box they were dirty with a strange grey powder coating the shelves. It took the better part of an hour to clean each set. Functionally they are ok. Ugly as sin. But if your purpose is a cheap 4 tier shelf to store soap and paper towels, canned goods or tools and such, go for it. You won't find any for less, that's for sure.
End caps broken and cracked, spend a little more for quality if you don't like wasting time on returns.
