I bought 4 of these for my garage. Was a little worried because they were inexpensive and I thought they'd be flimsy but they totally met my expectations. I was able to fit my canister vacuum (for the cars) on one of the shelves and other heavy things like gallon paint cans, small gas canisters for my grill, etc. I had no cracked pieces in fact one set had an extra tube that I can use if I break one. And they are quite attractive, not ugly at all. Also very easy to assemble, of course. I got the dark charcoal color. Great buy!
We unexpectedly needed to homeschool our kids for one semester. We bought 4 of these and arranged them in our impromptu classroom to hold their textbooks and other supplies. They were an awesome solution! Now that we've moved and the kids are back in regular school, my husband is using them in his new home office while we're still renting... they are an inexpensive verstile solution until we buy a home and do built ins.
Using in college apartment bedroom instead of a bulky dresser. Bought two, one for clothing and one for misc. These shelves are made of a good tough plastic, not floppy or flimsy like some of the reviews we read. You can't of course line them with full gallons of paint or a heavy weight lifting set but who would? You simply snap them together. Total piece of cake, a 5th grader could do it. Built them in 2 minutes. Make sure you snap the poles into the holes with all your might and hear them click so you know they are in. Sturdy and absolutely worth every penny. Plan on buying more. As with any shelving, heavy stuff should go on the bottom and you're fine. It came with some short little plastic tubes but didn't need those to build the shelving. Not sure what they were for unless for packing. Didn't need them at all.
I use this storage unit for excessive junk in my room. It's easy to accessible, sturdy, and looks nice. I'm very pleased.
I bought two of these and had them put together in just a few minutes. No tools are required, but I have to admit to using a rubber mallet to do the job a little quicker. They look great and are very sturdy. I wanted something that I could use to store my many small kitchen appliances and also for clothing storage in my bedrooms. My closets are very small, so having the extra shelving comes in handy and they look great, too. I'm very happy with my purchase.
I bought this for my son in College. I have some of these shelf units in my garage, in the white color, and I am very pleased with their durability. Great price, great value, I am going to buy more. Highly recommend.
For the price, this is a decent product. It was fairly difficult to get the shelves level, and in the end the bottom shelf wobbled maybe less than 1/4 inch, but that was easily fixed once I put my printer on it. All in all it's fairly sturdy and I do like that the posts aren't one continuous plastic rod, as I'll need to disassemble it when I move out of my dorm next year. It also holds a decent amount of weight. I use it to hold my dishes (assorted metal pots and saucepans, cups, glasses, bowl, bakeware etc) and video game consoles. I'm considering buying another one, since as you can see in the photo, I ran out of space and desperately need somewhere to put the rest of my dishes and other stuff.
This is a good shelf. Not super sturdy but definitely good for storing things that wont break on the floor.
I ordered four of these shelves online for home delivery. The first two I opened were broken in more than one place, most likely from shipping. The remaining shelves were flimsy and didn't seem strong enough to hold very much weight.
Very cheap, not durable. I bought two of these from ship to store and when I got them home, not 1 or 2, but FIVE bars were missing! Returned them and will go elsewhere.
