After using Derma Shield continually for a period of time, you are creating a barrier to help protect the skin when you are in these areas. Be patient though because it can take several weeks of daily application to help improve the feet and toenails. EASY TO USE Dilute to 2% for skin application and apply twice daily after carefully washing and drying the feet. If the problem is solely with the nails, apply a thin layer of Vaseline on the skin surrounding the toenails to protect them and then using a Q-tip, apply the Derma-Shield at a 25% dilution. To make the process more effective wear clean, white cotton socks everyday, and rotate the shoes you wear. Go barefoot as much as possible.
