This play day 8 inch pail and shovel set is so adorable. The pale comes in different colors. It is made of a sturdy thin plastic and very light weight. It has a plastic handle Attached so that your child can carry it from place to place with them. A shovel is attached to the plastic handle when it is purchased and can be easily removed by detaching one end of the plastic handle and sliding it out and re-attaching the plastic handle to the bucket. It is very easy to do. My grandchildren use this bucket to play outside in the dirt and sand. They also use it indoors to put their race cars in and other little toys and carry it around the house. We have even used it in the bathtub. I would definitely recommend this pail and shovel set to friends and family. It makes for a wonderful toy and a wonderful gift.
As long as you don’t trust the handle to necessarily hold with a full bucket, then this is great! When my toddler filled it to the top, the handle did pop off quite a few times however. For the price especially it is huge! It’s SO heavy if you fill it all the way anyway. The little shovel it comes with isn’t bendy like some, so it also digs really well into wet sand. Our sandbox had dry sand on top and it’s a little wet underneath so this was helpful that it’s sturdy! I love the green and yellow color combo. The pail is a good size to use as an Easter basket itself to hold the treats etc. then be used for egg hunting, then it’s a gift in itself for the sandbox!
This is much better than I imagined it'd be. Oftentimes, a children's bucket and shovel are thin and they seem to break easily. I can't tell you how many bucket and pail sets I've purchased only to throw them away within a month or so or after the season or the trip to the beach. This one is much better! It's heavier. The shovel isn't as thin. The kids took it straight outside and there it will spend the rest of its (hopefully long) life. The kids have tossed it about and turned it upside down and sat on it. It has carried sand here and there and frogs and bugs hither and yon. This is a sturdy little bucket.
This pail and shovel set is made of a good quality plastic so it won't break easily when your little one is building that sandcastle on the beach or toting around buckets of wet sand. Looks like it will last more than one summer and does it's job!
Got this and my 4 year old son was so excited. He loves to put his toys in containers, boxes etc. I decided to get this and show him how easy if would be for him to carry his toys around since this has a handle. Well it was a hit. He uses the shovel to scoop his toys into the bucket and then Carrie’s them from room to room. When it’s time to clean up I have him sort toys by color or size and he will load them into his buck and then put them into his toy bins! Good for more than just beach days!
I have the green bucket with the Yellow scoop I will say the handle is not very sdirty but the bucket itself is nice I feel like this is maybe a dollar to $2 item worse but this would be such a cute Easter basket which is what I'm gonna use it for and put a bunch of stuff for them to use outside so chalk bubbles a little bit of candy but mostly outside stuff for my kids it's Adorable perfect for going outside and playing in sand if you have a sandbox or even to the beach we actually have a swimming pool with sand so this is where we'll be using this when the weather breaks but this will be one of our Easter baskets this year with chalk bubbles all kinds of fun outdoor activities
This lightweight, plastic bucket is perfect for the beach and sand castles or like my kiddos, perfect for digging around in the dirt in the backyard. It included a decent size shovel to compliment the bucket. perfect for little explorers. Highly recommend for any kid who likes to play outside. In fact, I might just do Easter baskets in them for cousins!
This little pail and shovel set is so cute! My little people love being able to scoop up whatever they can into it, sand, snow, toys, dirt, really whatever they can get into it. It's sturdy and I love the way the shovel can stay connected to the pail to prevent losing it
This pail and shovel set is basic, not the best quality, very light weight which is good if you think that a toddler may fill it with water or sand and bring it around. However, the quality could be better. Bright colors, I think any kid will enjoy it but if you are a parent and you want a high quality item, this may not be it.
This pail and shovel set is just alright, nothing special to write home about. It is green with a yellow scoop, the colors could be a little more vibrant for kids. It is a good size for smaller kids, shouldn't be too hard to carry, but it won't hold much sand.
