We've had these for about a week and a half and my boys love them. They play with him in the front yard as well as in the pool. It's safe enough for them to play with even if they were a little rough. So far they have not busted it, or anything like that. Somethings to know, though, for one, you have to blow up all four sides of. The. Bubble suit. Each side has its own blowup nozzle. It's easier to blow up with a machine. I blew mine up with my mouth both of them and it took a lot oxygen. Number two it's really fine to play with in the pool and it also gives the kids something to float with. Overall it's really cool and it gives me bubble boy vibes
I sent these over to my kid's babysitter's house and they provided hours of outside fun. The kids loved putting them on and bumping into each other, the animals, us and any inanimate object they could find. Easy to inflate and deflate and kept the kids entertained.
Theyre a little big for kids 6 and under, probably work better for 9 and 10 year old kids but our grandkids 5%266 year old still had fun with them
My toddlers love these, They will go in the yard and run around in them. My son likes to rough house with them. My daughter has also used them as a pretend animal house. They also just watched the new Mario movie and they call those their yoshi eggs. Many uses from these. Down fall is we don’t deflate ours so they take up a bit of room.
These inflatable body bumper balls are absolutely adorable! This particular set is for younger children, ages 3 and up. I wouldn’t recommend them for ages under 6 as they are rather small. I used to own the larger set where you are completely enclosed in the inflatable ball, but this one is definitely different from those. With this one your head, arms and legs stick out and pretty much just your belly area is covered. I worry a little bit that if they are bumping each other too hard and fall over, their head is not protected. That would be my only concern with these. It hasn’t happened yet and hopefully I don’t encounter that.
Oh man, the kids loved these! They fit on the younger kids (3+) and they also fit on the bigger kids (12). They had a ball bouncing off one another without getting hurt. I do suggest when playing to have two children about the same size to prevent getting hurt. Great outdoor fun. Each ball did have one side that deflated a bit after hours of non-stop play, however, they were able to be blown up again. I'll be getting a few sets of these.
Pros: Fun concept! Simple to use (in theory) Durable Cons: You will NEVER get these back in the box. Take 20 minutes EACH to inflate (with an electric pump). There are four inflation tubes b/c it's sectioned out. Too big for a 3-year-old (box indicated 3 and up) Recommends a helmet...probably a good idea, but also I'm not sure you want to pass helmets from kid to kid. But you also don't want to spend 40 minutes inflating these for only 2 kids. So these are GREAT if you have a bunch of kids ages 6-9 maybe? My daughter is 4.5 years old, 3.5' tall, and about 36 pounds, and she was struggling to keep it on - had to hold her arms out just to hold it up. I like the idea a lot - great for a school or church group - but there's also no sizing mechanism to it (b/c it's just a giant bubble). So if you have a larger kid or a too small kid they probably just can't do it.
Thought this would be great for my nephew (3) and daughter (6). It definitely reminded me of the sumo suits when you knock each other over, so I thought they'd enjoy it. Each “suit” has 4 sides to blow up. Luckily, I had a small electric air pump. It would take forever if you didn't have something like that, and it still took me about 45min. Once inflated they had fun, but didn't understand the concept on what to do. They did fit great, and were perfect for the age. My nephew may have been a tad small, but it was fine The quality of the suits are durable. The biggest draw back is definitely the time it take inflating
The PlayDay Body Bumpers are a great concept, although these didn't deliver the optimal playtime experience we had hoped for. The bumpers are easy to inflate and fit over my children easily. My daughters tried bumping with these, and we noticed that the height differences presented a potential safety concern, as their heads aren't protected when wearing these. While cute to wear, I wouldn't recommend these bumpers unless those wearing them are the same height and move slowly.
So the blue one already had a hole in it upon opening which I was able to repair with some flex seal tape but while inflating the red one I realized the air vent was not fully sealed so when I went to push down the cap after inflating I could hear air escaping. I tried to repair it as these were presents for my 4 year old's birthday. They played with them but the red one where I patched around the air vent didn't hold and not only that but the blue one began to rip at the seams which I attempted to patch again but the seams are quite different and not as easily repaired as is the case with a small hole. So they are now useless and a waste of $20. I noticed there were no bad reviews on these so I thought maybe they were better quality than another brand I bought previously. I will be contacting Walmart for a refund on them but wanted to review this item to warn others.
