This is a great swing for anyone who has kids. This Play Day Rope Swing Outdoor Adjustable Nylon Rope Swing set can be put indoors or outdoors. It is very easy to install and take down and put somewhere else. You can bring it camping with you and it gives kids something to do and keeps little ones occupied. The base is large enough for a child to sit on and be comfortable and safe. My grandchildren love when we take them places, bring the swing with us, and they all get to take turns playing. This one has a base that is blue, our granddaughters wanted one that was pink, so we purchased a pink one. While we have a large swing set, this gives us the option to put this one closer to the house so we can watch the little ones closer. This is a great idea for people that go camping, go on picnics, go to friends and families house that don't have a swing. It gives kids the option of going outside and playing and enjoying themselves. I highly recommend this swing and have shared pictures with friends to show them how much fun the kids are having. A great gift idea for anyone.
Having little ones and finding them something to do fun can be challenging and costly. Thankfully this rope swing is the most played with toy now. It comes with everything you need to set it up so all you need to do is find a sturdy tree etc to place it in. It's perfect size for younger kids and is very safe as long as your little one knows to hold on. Another great thing is is will support someone up to 175lbs but you need to make sure what you hung it on will support the weight. This swing is what gets played with the most when we're outside. Overall it is holding up great and will last a very long time. I do take it down if it's calling for wet weather to help keep it in great shape.
With a very sturdy, 3/4 inch nylon rope and clever hanging method, this rope swing can be hung, ready for use in minutes, as well as taken down too. The seat can fit through the pre made loop, which can then be easily and quickly adjusted, for the most sufficient height needed. We are excited for our Grandchildren to try this, when the weather warms up. I hope it brings them hours of enjoyment, as mine did, during my childhood!
I can't wait to hang this in my yard for my grandkids when the weather gets nice. It's compact and won't take up too much space. The plastic seat seems to be of great quality. It will last the 4 year old and 7 year old for quite some time still. The best part is that it doesn't take up any lawn space so it won't be in the way when it is time to mow.
Who doesn't love a rope swing!? The rope on this swing is very strong and sturdy. The hardware is strong and I do not feel nervous about the ability to hold weight. The rope length is adjustable so you can hang it just about anywhere. It can be attached to a swing set or a tree branch. The seat is hard plastic, but doesn't feel cheap like it will break easily. Overall, a nice product.
The package arrived in perfect condition, but it's the middle of winter so I won't be putting the swing up just yet. These things have been around for years and many people have them, so I'm confident it's going to be a great addition to the yard. It looks like it will be easy enough to put up and will stand up to years of use from KIDS. If some drunk adults decide to check it out, things might not go so well.
Great for my nieces and nephews to play on! Nice colors and comfort seat for the kids! Make sure to pay attention to the safety considerations and install it somewhere safe. The rope feels sturdy and safe. I like this classic outdoor door for the kids. Glad it came with the rope
I wish the rope was a little longer, but I used chain over the branch to connect it and it worked fine.
This is a nice little rope swing with a 5ft rope. It has a mounting ring and sliders that can shorten the distance the swing hangs down. I haven't used it yet since it arrived in the winter, but plan to put it up this spring. We have used similar rope swings and have had better luck by hanging them from a tree saver than hanging them directly on the branch for two reasons. You want this close enough to the ground for the kids to get on and off on their own, and you need a big enough branch for this to hold them, and those never seem to be within 5 feet of the ground. With a tree saver you can get many lengths or wrap several times around the branch to customize the “fit”. The other thing I prefer about our previous rope swing is that it had knobs on the rope, which the kids use for hanging on as well as climbing up the rope as they get bigger and more adventurous. This one does NOT have knobs or grips. I think adding those and some extra length to the rope would improve this swing.
We have had a Play Day Rope Swing for a few years, and the kids absolutely love it. We've left it outside, rain and shine...and while it's faded from bright orange to a softer peach color, the swing has maintained its structural integrity. This newer version of the Play Day Rope Swing surprised us. It's both thinner and smaller in circumference. Even so, it was easy to install (my 11 yr. old climbed a favorite tree & did everthing himself) and has been fun for the kids to use. We enjoy and recommend this swing! :)
