I bought this little stove to bring some "warmth and coziness" to my home during the winter months. I have it in my living room which is about 250 sq ft. This little heater does an amazing job. You can feel the heat difference when entering the room from another part of the house. Not only does it work great, but the "fire" doesn't look horribly fake. It definitely does what I hoped it would. AND my little dog lays in front of it for hours. It is an awesome product. Very happy with my purchase.
Although it is a high tech fireplace it does look good. The fire/flame effect looks life like and cosy. It was exactly what we were looking for, for our living room. Nothing fancy, two heat settings. Does the job, looks good and good value.
I was apprehensive to buy a plastic fireplace at first. But, now that I see it in my living room all doubts vanished. The side views of the coals and fire make this truly different than all other fireplaces. The fan is whisper quiet blowing out warming air. The flames are so life like I imagine I hear the fire actually crackling.
I love this fireplace/wood stove. It's the perfect size for an apartment living room. Super easy to put together as well (literally turn it over, screw on four feet, flip it up right and you're ready to enjoy it)! This fireplace creates a cozy environment in my home. Love it!
The look of this stove is what sold me on it. The idea that you can see the fire from three sides is really an appealing trait. You don't have to be at just one angle to enjoy the view. It is the only one I have seen with the mesh sides. It came in great condition with no scratches or dents, but I was surprised to read that it was made in China when it was advertised as made in the USA. There is a big drawback in that there is an irritating noise when just the fire is on (not the heater). I called customer service number on the documentation and had a lot of trouble getting through to customer service. Finally, they said that it sounded like a bad motor and they sent me a new motor immediately.. I have to figure out how to install it. When I took the back off, the assembly that turns "the flame" was seated wrong, the screws are misaligned, and there was a rubber washer just sitting there. Hopefully, after I learn how to rebuild the stove, it will work properly. Honestly, it will be worth it. I am totally in love with the way it looks. It really looks like high quality from the outside. It adds a lot to the look of the room.
This stove makes my living room very cozy. The only bad thing is the lack of a thermostat. I don't know what it will do to my electric bill even tho I do not leave it on all of the time.
I ordered this electric fireplace because on the web site it stated it was made in USA . After I got it home and un-packaged I find it was made in china . I could not find one made in the USA so I decided to keep it . Misleading advertising .
the only thing i don't like ,is that the light shows through the back of the stove,other than that i like it alot.
This thing is a winner on looks and realistic looking log and flames. But, the heater is very small and doesn't put out much heat. I think I will be better off with a tall ceramic tower heater.
Upon receiving product the the assembly screws were not included. That was almost three weeks ago and I still have not recieved them to attach the legs. Also the heater does not heat very well.. A real bust....
