I've been using FS1 Polartec for over 7 years.....I am only having to replace because I replaced the battery myself and compromised the water tightness of the unit. The directions do say to send it or take it in to replace battery. This is the most accurate and simple to operate HRM and I've used one other brand, well known too, in the past. For the most efficient way to train, by heart rate, I would highly recommend this product and the price at Walmart is the lowest out there.
Had mines for almost 3yrs now & its still working, basic heart rate monitor, easy to read & operate. Best bang for your buck. I use mine to paddle outrigger canoe & jogging, defiently worth every penny.
