We have several hundred dollars of Polly Pocket products, and while some of the larger Polly toys are awkward or finicky, the Polly Bus has been a pleasant surprise. It is easy to set up, simple for a child as they come-and-go-play, and loved for its quick portability. My daughter says it is her favorite of all her Polly landscapes.
My 4 year old received this for Christmas. She loves it and plays with it all day. It is awkward to pop up and down. You have to be patient and gentle without forcing the pieces. That is not a 4yr olds strong suit. After a little coaching and instructing her on the proper way to pop it up and down there haven't been any real problems. If I see it missing the top or a door, I simply fix it as moms do. Pre-schoolers are hard on toys so expect some mishaps, but they aren't anything that can't be fixed. I loved buying it online and picking it up at the store a few days later. All this without paying shipping! I will used that service again!
I bought this for my 4 year old last week. She has played with it non-stop and loves "driving" the bus all over the house. My only complaint is that the door to the front of the bus will not stay on. It doesn't seem to bother her, but it would be helpful if it did, especially when putting it away, and storing the pieces inside.
We bought this product for our daughter for christmas, she loved it!!! It was worth the money we paid for it, she has been playing with it since that day. The item works perfectly and it's just so cute. I recommend this product for all the polly-pocket-lovers parent's out there.
I bought this for my 4 year old this Christmas, and needless to say she loves it, since she only asked "Santa" eight hundred times before the actual day. The top part and the doors of the bus come off often while playing so I have to attach them again when she calls, but over all she loves it.
The bus is cute but once a door comes off, you cannot put it back on or get it to stay. As you know the pieces are very small so it makes it hard to keep things inside of the bus for storage. The best part of the purchase was having gotten a $5 rebate.
I am glad that some people have had positive experiences with this bus but, that has not been the case for us. My little girl is a huge Polly fan but, she got frustrated the first time she played with it. The top, back door, and side door/patio won't stay on. The top canopy is a problem, also. Putting it away is a nightmare, it springs back up and non of the doors will close easily. I don't recommend this bus. It's cute but, not worth it.
We bought this for my 3 and half year old daughter not long after christmas. The doors have never stayed on even with me being the one closing them. The canopy won't stay on and it's a pain to try to close up to store. My daughter can't even play with it. The only good thing about it was that it came with a doll. The doll is the only thing she was able to use.
My 7 year old daughter loves Polly Pocket anything! I almost bought her the Airplane but, after reading the reviews I didn't. Well I wish I had heeded the reviews for this product. this is a very poorly made product. The back part of the bus wouldn't stay on, the canopy for the top kept coming off, not attached properly at the factory or something. To top it all off the top of the bus wouldn't stay on either! I will definately pay attention when another reviewer is disatisfied. Needless to say I returned it. Once bitten twice shy, I always say.
We gave this to our 3 1/2 yr. old for Christmas and she was calling it a "bad, bad bus" within a few hours! The doors fall off and, though the floors fold down easily, it won't click together and stay closed. For the price, buy something else. I'll be returning it and getting her a more functional Polly Pocket toy.
