Great DIY! Purchased for my 5 yr old son because he is always burrowing under mine! My store was out of stock for boy themes, so this was a useful replacement. Planning to get another for a long flight I have coming up soon.

I have a 12lb blanket that is very heavy. I do use it sometimes. This blanket is awesome! I can cover my hips and knees, my problem areas. like it so much want to buy it for other people.
So far so good. My daughter uses it everyday. She uses it on the couch and in bed. She loves it and so far it is holding up nicely.
I would say this size is perfect for a toddler bed or child. Can cover about 1/2 and adult. Perfect for kids with a hard time sleeping. This blanket weight can be put inside a duvet since washing the weighted blanket too many times can make it loose it's effect. The duvet can be washed indefinitely. If you have a child with ADHD, or Autism, get it... one for home for school to nap. it's 100% worth it at this price.
