I've never drained the gas out of it. I can leave gas in it for years and it will still start.
i have started mine several times over several day it always starts easy jut wish the handle was a little bigger so the toe of my boot will fit
Works good make sure you run the proper 50:1 40:1 and use good fuel and oil or it will make it bog. Starts within 3 pulls compared to what it says. Only thing I had to do was turn up the idle.
It starts hard. Threw the chain on the first cut. After that it worked fine. If he could take it back he would but we no longer have the boxes.
I bought the saw for my son. He used for maybe a hour of run time. It was easy to start and ran good with just enough power for a teenage boy. We were cutting firewood and it would not start. I tinkered with it and got it to run. When we were done cutting the log that was all she wrote. I went to fire it back up and nothing, it wouldn't even spark. So not happy with the saw.
good value but takes a ton of pulls absolutely hate the new design on off built into one very confusing
never even got to use the saw. absolute garbage, barely starts, barely runs. as soon as you let go of the trigger that rotates the saw, it shuts off. couldnt even get through a small branch without it locking up as well. worst saw i have ever worked with. I use manuefactured gas so i know its not the issue. saw is just absolute garbage. do not buy!!!!
It would not start so we returned it to Walmart!!
I have had it for 30 days used it one time. Went to use it again will not start and the stop and run button does not work, plus they are made from plastic which will deteriorate over time. Tried to register it on line without ever finding the regeristeron site.
We tried to start on two occasions and did not get any sign that it was about to start. There also seemed to be a lot of resistance in the pull cord. I wonder if EPA regulations are the problem, with a limit on emissions when starting. If so that is really bad because I dislike hard-to-start equipment and regulations have gone too far. I plan to return the chainsaw after the holidays. I worry when such a problem occurs with me because I wonder if we did something wrong.
