The PowerA enhanced wired controller for Nintendo Switch is amazing. I love by that it is officially licensed for the switch so it has gone through rigorous testing and evaluation. I love the design we received and how has our system responds to the controller. The 10 foot cable is perfect for gaming. I love that there are no batteries and the ergonomic design is very comfortable.
I recieved this item as a gift in exchange for my honest review and I will definitely recommend it to any one who owns a switch! I love that it is bigger to hold than the small remotes that come with the switch! The Mario design makes it more unique and perfect for kids and adults alike! My son was so excited when he seen it! I got this for my son and grandson who play the switch together. My son is an old school Nintendo fan so when I saw this with the old graphics I got it immediately. He absolutely loves it. It linked up easily and is user friendly. He loves the two on the fly buttons he can map to Make his play more custom. I picked this because of the Retro Mario design. It made me really excited when it got delivered earlier today and used it as soon as I could. I am so glad I bought this. It is important to note that this is powered by 2 AA batteries, and I would have preferred a recharchable controller but then again it is not a big deal. I love how the buttons feel, so much easy to control. The programmable buttons are cool to have and will have to explore more on that later. I have been using this controller for my Nintendo Switch for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with the overall performance of it! It is very comfortable to hold and the buttons are set up perfectly. It being a Bluetooth Wireless Controller is a huge plus! The Super Mario Bros. design is my favorite though! This controller is a great deal, I've played many hours of Zelda and Mario Kart with it. The performance is great for a wired controller without latency, and I see no reason to spend a lot more money on a wireless controller. Smooth joystick and buttons, and the price is great!
This is a review for the Nintendo Switch wireless game controller. I like that this is wireless with sensors , so I'm not tied down with a cord. This controller has Bluetooth, mappable buttons, fully programmable, and more. The motion controls are awesome, this is a smart product! This has a design that feels good in the hands, it is not bulky or hard to work. My nephews prefer this over the other wireless controller we have, and they kind of fight over it. They really like the retro Mario on the controller, and make fun of me because it was brand new "in my day". This is fun, so I'd definitely recommend this product. I'm very happy with the look and performance of this controller. It connected immediately to my switch and gave no issues. I mostly used this on Mario Kart. The controls worked smoothly, felt great in my hand, not bulky at all. The cord is 10 feet long, which should work for most. However, my couch was a little close and is difficult with animals, but I can't complain at all aboutbthr length. The controller also has headset input for online play, but I did not test that function.
Upon receiving this controller I was surprised by it's quality. I am one to usually buy accessories made by the particular gaming system manufacturers. This controller surprised me by how sturdy and well made it really was. I've used it a couple days and ready to leave a review for this controller. Pros: Well-made Design scheme is well done and looks great All buttons and sticks function as expected, even better than some Nintendo made controllers I've used in the past. 10ft cord leaves plenty of room for movement without being restricting or worrying about pulling your Switch off the shelf Cons: There's a little creaking when gripping tightly or twisting the controller, doesn't affect usage however Longevity of the cord material used is still in question, holding up nicely though Will see how the sticks age and if drift appears Over all this controller is a nice addition to my Switch accessories collection and will more than likely receive heavy usage in my controller rotation. Super cute controller! The kids loved the Mario graphics (they are used to the plain controller!)! It is a bit lightweight, which can be good or bad. Kids can fling it about but it feels somewhat cheap. We are also sadly missing the ruble features. It does have a neat input for headphone jack that we use often. It is wired (which is sometimes good, because we forget to charge the wireless sometimes!) but the wire is long and we can easily play on our game room couch with no issues.
