I love this controller. It's very sturdy and the decal looks better in person than the online photos. I bought this because I personally love the GameCube controller over the other controller styles. Functionality is great.

The d-pad is much improved over the original Gamecube controller. Much more clicky, and not mushy.I think I'd still prefer a little more heft to the controller, and my hands are large so the trigger buttons are not super comfortable for me, but that's the original Gamecube controller for you, too. I grew up with all the old game systems including game cube so to see this offered is great.my husband and i are both very accustomed to using the old school game cube controller so it was like riding a bike and came back quickly. I love that its wireless and compatible with all switch games. We have been enjoying playing super smash bros ultimate especially but look forward to trying it with many others. The fact that it purple appeals to the girl in me but my husband and son rock out with it too just fine. The controller is honestly better than the official pro controller in my honest opinion. I'm not a diehard gamecube fanatic or a super competitive smash player so this is coming from someone who uses the controller for general use. It's super great for some motion control titles like Mario Galaxy in the 3D AllStars collection. I love gyro aim with the controller so BOTW was great. You might get drift, I did but it went away somehow. PowerA offers a replacement incase you get drift but thats a lot of mailing back and forth or something (I never submitted a claim so I wouldnt know) so keep that in mind.
First off the controller is great! I absolutely love the quality, the buttons' feedback, and the joystick. I use the controller on my Switch for intense games like Smash Bros. I also use it with my computer for games like Stardew. Therefore, it holds up very well on all platforms and under stress. The only important thing to note is the shoulder buttons (L and R) don't require you to press as much to activate compared to the traditional Gamecube Switch Pro I've owned in the past. I see this as a pro rather than a con. For games that require speed and reflexes, this means I can be pressing the button a few frames before other individuals without this controller. Others may not like it, but I honestly love it. The feedback from the press is the same and when playing Smash Brothers with other people, every 1/60th of a frame counts. The only other possible con is the design and aesthetic look itself of the controller. I personally think it's beautiful but others may not care for it. I would note the colour of the controller is actually more of a dark pink or purple than it appears in the pictures. Not by much, but it was enough for me to notice when I first opened it. I actually don't think the pictures can do it justice. However, the price is definitely cheaper than most other Switch Pro controllers out there and this includes all their features (Gyro, motion sensor, etc) and like the quality.

This Wireless Controller brings me back to GameCube days with the family. I like using this control with my switch because it's a very famailar controller and in my opinion a lot easier to use. I got this controller to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Buttons and joysticks feel great like the original Gamecube controller. Pairing it with the Switch was easy. It's powered by two AA batteries and battery has held up so far. Not much more to say - I think the main use for this controller is for fans of Smash Bros who think the Gamecube controller is the best way to play. If that's you, it's an instant buy. The left trigger button broke after having it for 1 week
