I have had the same Presto shoe polisher for 15 years now. If you want spit shine shoes, this is a must have product. It will pay for itself many many times over!
Great product! don't use to much polish and it want splatter. not the most comfortable to hold but works great.
I love the product. I own over a dozen pair of expensive dress shoes. I always wanted the "professional shoe shop shine" from "at home" efforts. This product does a very professional job! I am going to buy one for my brother and nephew as gifts.
This is a great buy. If you buy it, your going to save so much time.
Whether you polish just 1 pair of shoes or 10 pairs of shoes, this is a product that everyone who has to polish a pair of shoes should own. While I still don't look forward to polishing my shoes the Presto ShineOn has made the task a lot more "palatable". I polish 2 to 5 sets of men's dress shoes a week and this machine has saved me a lot of time, muscle, and sore hands. It's really easy to use and when I'm done my shoes look really good. It even gets in to all the nooks and crannies on my shoes that aren't "smooth". The only "hand" work required is to apply the polish with the provided sponge polish applicator. The storage tray holds the polisher and accessories neatly and even has a place to store your polish. You can order extra or replacement consumables (applicators, brushes and buffing pads) directly from the manufacturers' web site for a reasonable price. This is really one of those products that you'll wonder how you lived with out it once you've had a chance to use it.

I looked for this product in stores for some time before coming across it online. It is great! It makes shoe shining easy and is really fast. It has attachments to shine both black and brown shoes. I recommend it to anyone who wants a fast and effective way to shine their shoes.
If you are looking for a product to help cut down on time spent shining shoes or boots then this is the product to get. It will give you that high gloss military shine if you follow the instructions given in half the time well worth the price.
The Presto electric shoe polisher is an OK product. The handheld buffer is rather large and awkward to hold and use with one hand, and I have big hands! It is especially hard to put one hand in the shoe and use the buffer with the other hand. It may be a little easier to put the shoe on your foot, and use the buffer. The sponge polish applicators are cheap. I ended up using a rag, and an old toothbrush to apply the polish, especially in any corners. The buffing pads keep grabbing the shoe, we'll see if they "work in" better as I polish more shoes. The best tip though is to spray a mist of water on the shoe before you buff it. I guess this is the old spit shine! It really does give a better finish. I was hoping this would be better than using the manual brush and rag method, but I don;t think it is.
