My main concern was finding a waver that would get hot enough for thick, coarse, hair. The cheaper versions had terrible reviews, so I didn't even risk it. I did my own research and found that this waver reaches higher temperatures than your average waver to style coarse hair. This product works perfectly.
This crimper doesn't crimp/wave hair no matter what setting its on. It actually made part of my daughter's hair straight and her hair is normal/fine. Do NOT waste your money! Hoping to get a refund from this company!
