Prototype 2 follows the violent, vengeance-filled adventures of Sgt. James Heller, whose genetic makeup has been forever altered thanks to the actions of the first games protagonist, Alex Mercer. The city of New York, New York Zero, that is, is now a wasteland, with giant beasts walking the streets and a military presence trying to exert its influence. The game features an open world divided into three zones: green, yellow, and red, each offering enemies to battle and obstacles to overcome. Use Hellers mutant powers to cause chaos and destruction wherever you decide to travel. Hellers infected body has powerful tendrils that can grab cars, tanks, and even beasts before shredding them into pieces. As Heller becomes more proficient in combat, he will be able to learn new perks to improve his movement, attack powers, and ability to disguise himself.
