My tap water contains a lot of chlorine, so much that you can smell it strongly, and this filtration gets rid of the taste and smell. It also takes FOREVER to filter the water! I like that there is a light that shows when the filter needs changed. The water does taste noticeably better. However, the design flaw is a big enough reason to not purchase anymore filters to continue using this product.
