Love this Pur water filter. I am on well water and this filter provides me with all the great tasting water that I need. Filter is simple to replace.
This is the perfect setup for any fridge. I have eliminated my use of plastic bottles with this and feel great about doing my part for the environment. This filters out the best tasting water you're going to get shy of outright purification with reverse osmosis or however they do it. Just great!
This is my second one from PUR and it's filter is very good.. no strong smell to water like other filters.
Great tasting water and like the dispenser is so large. On the other hand, the water filtration time is too long. Often I have to leave it overnight. Have tried different filter and advice from Pur website as well as other users online. Nothing works.
Reviews warned me, I crossed my fingers and ordered anyway. I've tried everything I can think of since I love the indicator light and size of this pitcher. IT LEAKS HORRIBLY! Tired of cleaning an entire pitcher of water out of my fridge every other day. Purchased something else, maybe you should too.
The spigot broke after 8 months and there's no fixing it. Such a bad new model. The older model that the spigot has no filter reset button lasted me for over 6 years!!! Just that it fell off the counter and the water compartment broke. They need to work on this new model; the parts are not durable at all!!
Spigot stops working correctly 3 months after you buy. Mine started leaking and it leaks water all over the counter, down the cabinets and then inside the cabinets. Not happy to see this after just filling it that night before. Funny thing is they don't sell replacement spigots. So only fix is to get whole new one for it to work 3 months top.
OMG, FYI, I like the filtration system in Pur Much Better than BRITA. PUR TAKES AN ENTIRE 8 HOURS TO FILTER THRU THE JUG. UGH. BRITA IN FLOOD ZONE, PSL, FL, A JOKE 34983
I bought it two times and both times the spigot broke after 4-6 months of usage. I am very disappointed having invested twice. There is no spigot replacement available in market. I would not recommend to buy PUR Plus for spigot life. It's unusable once spigot breaks. I made a mistake buying it twice.
I purchased this twice, and each time the handle/spout broke. I the out the first thinking it was a fluke. It was after 90 days in the second (about 4 months), so i got nothing back for it. Don't waste your money!
