I have a 15 1/2 year old Pekingese and in the last six months, he is having a harder time moving around. He can slowly get up stairs but not down them and walking can be tough at times since his right hip has arthritis. I decided to try some glucosamine chew tabs and stumbled across these. Since he is a smaller dog, he doesn't need a full tablet but he is picky about medicine so I needed something soft that I could hide in a ball of wet food. Thankfully these fit the ticket. They are a good size for big dogs but you can easily break them in half. He seems to be making a slight improvement over the past two weeks and they're easy for him to swallow when hidden in his food which is a huge plus! So far so good!
It is easy to use and it comes in a Pork Liver flavor and my dog loves it. Ice even looks forward to eating one. My Mason is an older dog (10 years old) and we noticed him have more difficulty getting up on the bed or in the car when we go for rides. His hips and joints seem to be doing much better since we started giving him the Pure Balance Pro+ Flex Care Dog Soft Chews.
Our dogs are now older and dealing with a little joint pain now and then,this product helps the dogs live pain free
Look how my crew lines up for these Pure Balance chews! The graying gal in the middle is 11, and is the mother of the two 8 year olds on each side. They are all getting up there in dog years, and especially the oldest is slowing down some. I see how much she struggles to get on and off furniture at times, and is slow to get going. I was excited to let her try these Pure Balance Pro+ Flex Care Dog soft chews, and with good reason... they do actually seem to help some. Not sure if I am just overly looking and hoping for improvement, but it seems she hasn't been as stiff lately. I really like that they contain fish oil for omega 3's along with the MSM, Glucosamine, and Condroitin.I also appreciate that they don't contain fillers or by products.I'm hoping with continued use they will keep the younger "pups" moving well for longer, and help to ease the stiffness more in our old gal. I am very intrigued by the ADEPPT technology they use for overall health, and plan to continue using this supplement to help my crew stay at their healthiest!
Helped my little doggy, shes 15 years old
So our Rottweiler is 7 plus years and we noticed her hesitating when she walks over rocky ground, we heard that Pure Balance Pro Hip and Joint care might help her. These soft chews can help maintain Rosa's Cartilage and connective tissue as well as supporting healthy joints.Rosa has been taking these soft chews and likes them with no problems. I will say the smell when you 1st open the container is strong. There are about 30 nuggets in the container. Like vitamins for dogs, we recommend you try these for your dog
My dog went nuts over these. He thinks that they are just treats not knowing that they are actually good for him. They are just a little bit bigger than a quarter as you can see in the photo. Hasn't been long enough yet to actually say how well they work. He does so far seem to be moving a bit smoother.
The most important thing is if your dog will actually eat them and thankfully mine did. We have a now senior terrier who while still reasonably active shows age related joint issues, especially on stairs and getting into the car. She is on prescription food as well as lean fresh food for other issues so when looking for “treats” we have to be fussy. I started feeding half a treat for the first couple of days to make sure there is no digestive issues then to a full treat. She's only 21lbs so thankfully only needs one treat per day. At $10 for a bottle of thirty it would get a tad costly with larger dog, but it's within my budget, heck it's one of the cheapest dietary supplements our dog enjoys. These are in the supplement column over “treat” column, so the extra cost is reflected. I love the amount of omega 3 in the nutrition list which has benefits beyond hip and joints. We are only near the end of our first bottle so I cannot make a medical declaration as to how much they help, but our vet was happy for us to use them as a supplement. Being soft they are tooth friendly for older dogs. They have a sweet smell to them which my dog is attracted to; her nose twitches the moment I open the jar. If they are within your budget give them a try.

The chews are rather large which is perfect if you have a larger dog; smaller dogs don't seem to mind it, and you could probably cut them into smaller pieces if you like. Pure Balance Pro+ Flex care dog Soft Chews are great if your dog needs a supplement to help relieve joint stiffness. My dog is a bit overweight (we are working on this) and especially on cold days, seems a bit resistant to walk much. The veterinarian recommended that we give our dog a supplement to help with her stiffness and this one seems to work very well. My dog is not too picky so she certainly loves the taste of these chews. I like that it has no artificial preservatives, no artificial fillers, and no artificial flavors. My dog will take it every day without hesitation. We only started giving her these chews for about two weeks so it is hard to say how well it's working but it does seem to help her when we take long (but slow) walks. I would recommend these chews.
