Bought this for my cats. I have three cats and my oldest cat is eleven. They Vet wants him use this supplement to keep his urinary tract to function normally. I mix it in his food bowl and sometimes he eats and some times he doesn't. He is smart but if I try to put it in his mouth, he spits it out. I smash the pill and mix it with a treat and he has eaten it!
This is a powder which makes it easier to give them to my cat.I put it in soft food it does small bad or taste bad or maui or cat would t eat it.He gets frequent urinary tract infections so this is such a amazing thing it makes it so hes not plagued w infections.It really works.He has no side affects from it i will continue to use it.Easy to measure with a little measuring spoon.Last 30 days sonin very cost effective.
I am watchful of my cats and theur health, espe ially urinary health as Ive lost a few cats to urinary problems. That being said, i have 2 new male kittens that I rescues and old menories are coming back. I found that the Pure Balance Pro+ Urinary Health Cat Powder are super supportive to my cats' health. Plus the flavor is amazing to them, and kiterally eat it out of the bottle. Just one scoop a day, okay and a few tastes out of the bottle!, added to their food and I am confident that their health will continue from kittenhood to adulthood.
Cat supplement comes in a 1.8 oz bottle. Used for urinary care and ingredients include: cranberry powder, dandelion leaf powder, marshmallow root powder, taurine, vitamin c, and pyridoxine HCL. You simply put one scoop of powder into the cat's food. Comes with its own scooper and is easy to use. There is approximately a months worth if you use as directed (once daily). I would recommend testing it out on a small bit of food (enough to still mix it into though). This way if the cat doesn't take to it, you won't be wasting a ton of food. Cats are highly particular, so can't blame products if cat doesn't like. The inactive ingredients include chicken liver and fish meal, so I am assuming if it has a taste, it would be fish flavored. My cat eats it fine but too soon to tell if it is actually helping urinary system. As always, consult with a veterinarian first especially if your cat has prior health conditions to make sure there aren't any contraindications.
This was the first time trying Pure Balance Pro+ Urinary Care Cat Powder. The powder is fine, fish flavor but did not have a strong fishy smell. Came with a scoop for easy measuring. The powder mixed very easy into the wet food, no clumping at all. My cat ate it right up and she can be picky at times. This is a perfect supplement to add to my cat's health and wellness. I highly recommend this product.
This product works great as a prevention for urinary issues in cats. Urinary blockage can be fatal in a male cat so it's important that they have healthy urinary tracks. This is definitely a great item to keep around and give once a week or so to keep them healthy. My boy has been to the emergency vet twice because of urinary blockages, but using a preventative such as this, has stopped it from happening again. I definitely recommend it it.
I tried this in all three of my cats. 2 out of 3 loved it. The third could have cared less lol. However, I was getting concerned about their urinary health and spent the money on the product that gives color indicators and found 1 cat had a bluish green color change. 1 week later the color change came out yellow. I would say this is working perfectly.
I have a large, beautiful male kitty (Nicco) who is now 6 years old, and I do everything I can to care for his urinary health given male cats are often predisposed to urinary issues. (Some may never have an issue.) But once Nicco had his first UTI, it became the starting point to do as much as I could to avoid another UTI or something more serious, like a blockage. That’s why I was excited to try this new Urinary Care cat supplement (powder) from Pure Balance. This product has the top 3 out of the 4 best researched ingredients available for urinary support: cranberry, dandelion leaf and marshmallow root. It would be great if it had D-mannose in its critical ingredient line-up. Even so, this product will still support Nicco’s urinary health. As for whether or not Nicco liked it, that’s another story. Since the bottle indicates the powder has a fishy flavor, I first tried to put it on top of his dry food. He simply stared at me and refused to eat it. I get it…it’s a powder, so it’s pretty dry. So, I mixed it with his canned cat food that I give him at night and that worked. He has not turned it down yet! I love the Pure Balance brand, and I am thrilled they have a product like this. This bottle contains 30 servings and comes with a small scoop to use for each serving. I do recommend this product; however, the formula would be even better if it contained D-mannose..
I received the Pure Balance Pro+ Urinary Care Cat Powder 2 days ago. I have two elderly cats and I am aware that older cats are susceptible to urinary problems. I opened the bottle of this powder and allowed my cats to sniff it, before I decided to sprinkle it on their food. They seemed to find the scent of the product pleasing, so I sprinkled a small dose (less than what the label called for) on top of their wet food. They seemed to like it, and ate it with no problem. I hope it is beneficial, but I really have no way of knowing.
