Our cats vomit up on cheap food, but they don't on this. Besides that, our overweight 10-year-old, Jumoki, eats less of it. Don't bother with the store brand, upgrade to better stuff. Worth the money.
i raised my kittens on Kitten Chow Naturals
I have 10 cats to feed and this is really good cat chow that I don't mind paying extra for. There are no colorful dyes and the pellets are very small which cats prefer. While this isn't super premium food that costs a lot more, it is made with lots of high-protein chicken. Cheap cat food is nothing more than artificially colored cornmeal pellets with sprayed-on artificial flavor. This upper-end Purina Naturals food is full of proteins and nutrients that all my cats really like.
My cat has a very sensitive stomach and I had tried all kinds of food. She will only eat dry food and never eats anything else. She even turns her nose up at a can of tuna. She was constanly throwing up after she ate. At first I thought was hairballs so bought the tube of treatment you put on thier food but she still threw up and it was always in my bedroom and on my bed. It was a daily clean up and I got so I just kept my carpet cleaner sitting in the bedroom ready to use. I fed her Iams and that helped a little but not much. When I tried the Cat Chow Naturals it was all the difference in the world. She may still throw up occasionally but it is very rare. I would recommend this to anyone with a cat that has sensitive issues. It works so much better and is a lot cheaper than the Iams.
We have used this cat food for 5 years. Our cats were having some hair loss as well as itchy spots. Our vet recommended we try this food as it has a meat/fish as the first ingredient(depending on the flavor you get). All of our cats concerns cleared up very quickly and have not returned.
There's no red dyes in this…my 23 year old can easily tolerate this …..she's tried other brands, and frankly dumped all Rachel Ray and Blue Buffalo upside down….it looked like burnt food, she tried it, and literally gagged to out….it's funny now, it's was a very expensive lesson….and her 10 year old daughter is even pickier ….
My pickiest cat just inhaled this stuff and i like it that meat is the main ingredient. My new go-to after years of the indoor formula.
My cats were scratching and losing hair. No fleas, indoor cats. I was using a Purina food. Switched to a different Purina food. No positive change. Switched to Purina Naturals. No more scratching! Hair is growing back!
I have tried many different dry cat foods. This has been the one food that all of them have eaten without having any issues with digestion. I also like that it doesn't have added dyes which are only added for human eye appeal. My kitties don't care what color it is!
Good for cheap cat food. I have 4 stray cats and they will eat the natural brand. My deer and chickens eat this food when they run out of grain. Hence, this is where cheap (not $) additives come into my review.
