My Adult Rotti is very sensitive to change and he stole some of his new brothers food and he was fine no nasty gas or diarrhea. Both love this food and it is very reasonable compared to Royal Canin who have raised their price. The boys are both doing well on this food
Our vet recommended that this be the only food we give our new Great Pyrenees puppy when we brought him home. He devours it the minute it's in his bowl. We highly recommend this puppy food! Our puppy is now 6 months old and he still can't get enough of it. If anything, he likes it even more now than when we first got him.
great foods, great nutrition and my dogs love it.
We are purchasing the Purina One based on our Vet's advice. Our puppy was 12 pounds at six weeks old, and is probably going to weigh 100 pounds as an adult. I told the Vet that I couldn't afford a “prescription” dog food. She said her practice recommended the Purina One line as it is veterinarian formulated and affordable. Our six week old puppy is now six months old and is still a Purina One puppy!
I've purchased Purina products for over 40 years now and never has the dog food been recalled for all of the contaminants found in these so-called healthy, organic, natural and fresh (cook-able) dog foods. I'm sticking with a proven product. I adopted a new puppy a few weeks ago and pointed myself, right in the direction of Purina. He weighed 8 pounds at 8 weeks when he was delivered and is now 24.6 pounds at 13 weeks. He out grew his baby bed the 2nd week. I believe Purina Large Breed Puppy food was the perfect choice.
My Golden Retriever puppy has eaten it for 3 months. He loves it. He always picks a few pieces of the dried chicken out and plays with it before digging in. His coat is beautiful and he's very healthy and playful.
This is one of the few puppy foods that doesn't have a lot of garbage added in and my dog enjoys eating it. I replaced the Royal Canin food that he started with that is obscenely expensive.
Unlike most dry dog foods, this one isn't full of fillers and junk, and all of the dogs love it. Im now up to 2½ - 3 60-lb bags a month with 6 dogs. Even though it gets a bit expensive every month, I would rather give my Chihuahuas %26 Pittys better ingredients than fillers and sawdust!!
I've been feeding my puppy this since I got her from her puppy parents and she has been doing well. i know there is a lot of other food out there, some more expensive and some less expensive but her puppy parents have been raising labs for years and they are all good and healthy so I trust what they say. At times I have had a hard time finding it so I guess a lot of people are buying it too, which tells me it's popular. my puppy is 8 months old now and doing well, her weight is good and she is not picky about what she eats. I'm happy with this food so unless she gets weird test results I'll stick with it.
I was given the adult dog version instead of the puppy version that was ordered. I didn't realize it was the wrong food until I opened the bag.
