[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the only fly spray I have used for the last 10 years or more. It's the only spray that really works. During summer my mare has free access of pasture. I spray her at night an I know she can go out an be fine the next morning. I love pyranha equine spray and wipe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a horse that was a littke sensitive to the oil based Pyranha fly spray so I tried this product. She no longer has a problem with skin irritation and it seems to work just as well....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works nearly as well as the oil based, but as it's water based doesn't attract the dust like the oil based. If you have a giant white paint gelding, that's important!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being water based, it doesn't work as well as the oil base one so you just have to reapply more often. And unfortunately all of these products have a chemical smell but they work great and that's what my horses need.
The water based spray does a good job in general. The oil based spray appears to affect a broader range of flies. But the water based is less residual. Smell is pleasant.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems to help for a while , flies turn away, but it does not kill them instantly. The Pyranha spray smells good and the price was right for the gallon. Delivery was fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well and seems to last a lot longer than others Ive tried
Seems to work and doesnt burn like the original Pyranha spray would.
Decided to try this product because tests showed it to be the best water based fly spray. It of course doesn't last as long as oil or lanolin based products but my horse got blisters from those. I now use a fly sheet and spray this product generously on his legs, neck and belly. Have to reapply later in the day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like over the years flies have become resistant to fly repellents, including this product. That said, it does repel flies to some extent, hence the review title "Works Okay." Perhaps rotating fly repellents might help?
