I was sceptical at first but this product really does work. Made my truck headlight lenses look new again. What a difference in my ability to see when driving at night.
This stuff is absolutely AMAZING! I just used it on my wife's 2002 Jeep Liberty that hasn't had the headlights cared for since it was made. Just 45 mins and just a little elbow grease and these things looks like brand new! I will definitely buy this product again. There's enough product in the package to do four or five sets of lights so you do get your money out of plus some.
after following the instructions accordingly, it was hard to notice my headlight wasn't new. I had a new headlight and the other one was old; after using quixx, both of headlights were almost the same, I had to take a look very close to see imperceptible differences.
To my surprise, this product actually worked well. I saw it on a TV commercial and was very skeptical to buy it. I didn't know much about getting your headlights cleaned, but I figured I have never had them cleaned before so they must be pretty bad. I bought the product and tried it out. My headlights actually look much better, although I don't have much to compare it to with other products. I think it gave me great results and I actually do notice a difference in the quality of my lights. When I drive at night the roads are much brighter. I would say you definitely get your moneys worth with this product if you are looking to have brand new looking headlights.
So I have been looking for a Headlight Restoration Kit for a while now. I have a 1999 Ford Taurus and for the last year I have totally avoided driving at night. I keep my high beams on if I have to go any place at night and that still doesn't help. So I honestly have looked everywhere for a good kit but one that doesn't take a drill and one that I felt like I could actually do myself. Most of the ones I looked at the directions looked so intimidating for me to handle. So I stumbled across this kit on Walmart.com since the reviews were excellent and since I base 90% on that alone I purchased this kit. Once I recieved it, I got kinda nervous to start it. But I did! I went on line and saw a few videos, read the instructions few times. And begun! It too me me a while to do but only because I have arthritis in my right hand and my second bout with carpal tunnel in my left. I took my time and well take a look at the pictures and you tell me! Awesome product! Simple to use, follow instructions! Make sure you have everything you need right buy you. Spray bottle, small tub of water, paper towels, I used a soft old receiving blanket to help polish even though the kit comes with one! I am very very impressed with this product. I am looking in to their many other products they also have to repair various scratches etc on a car!
I purchase a 2004 Toyota Sienna. The seller had already tried to brighten the lenses, and get rid of yellow tint and scratches. It was just O.K. I thought for $10.00 I had little to use with this product. The directions are a little confusing, as they mention other grit sizes in the kit. There in ONLY ONE. In any event, followed directions as printed. Did the final sealer spray sealer and WOW.!@ Honestly, they look BRAND NEW. I had some extra sealer -- so applied it the brake lights. Even that made them seem sparkle. For ten bucks, you can't go wrong.
This works perfectly and my headlights look brand new again!
It worked perfectly. I was going to pay someone 6x as much as what I spent on this kit. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Lights are brighter and it makes a huge difference at night and the overall appearance of my car.
It did a good job but it wasn't perfect. I'd say it was about 80% better when I was finished. The little foam block that is provided is too small as are the little sanding sheets. They bunch up and slow things down considerably. If you doubled the size of each it would be a lot better.
Directions were easy to follow, but the results were far less than I had hoped for. We'll go ahead and have the job done professionally. Thankfully, the kit wasn't expensive.
