We bought this for our grandson's 1st birthday. It was perfect. He can get on and off of it by himself..if he tumbles off it's not very far to tumble at all. It's soft, for him to lean forward on. My daughter likes that it's easy to clean. I like that it has a removable infant seat for future babies to use. I would recommend this to anyone. Our little man loves playing on his...lots of squeals and laughter.

This is a great toddler safe horse that lasts a long time! I got this for my little boy when he was seven months old and it got hauled to many rodeos, barrel races, and team ropings where all the kids enjoyed it! The support worked great when he was little and comes off easily now that he's bigger and doesn't need it. The horse being washable is a plus. After a year and a half the only wear is that it is slightly faded. I will definately get him the bigger version for his birthday this year!!

Makes a Great Photo Prop

I put this together myself and it wasn't too complicated. It is durable and cute and easy to move around. My baby is only 8 months old so she isn't really too interested in it yet. She does love to sit on it and she bounces up and down but she still doesn't know how to hold onto the handles or put her feet on the pegs. She fits in the safety saddle with no issues and it holds her on there really well. I am also a photographer and have used this as a photo prop and it is really precious for baby photography.

I bought this horse not knowing how my son would use it. He was born with a disability that left his legs paralized and trying to find a ride on toy that he could sit on without slipping off has been very hard. So once I put it together, I put him in it with the waist support and he loved it. He can sit, bounce, and rock it without my help. Even if he bends over the side to touch the horses nose, he cant tip out. So, I totally rate this toy more than 5 stars. Finally there is a product that he can play in independently and safely.

A little scared of it

Bought this for our grandson's 1st birthday. He was a little scared of it at first because his 9 year old sister got on it and 'rode' it all around the house! He sits on it for a while and rocks, but won't bounce on it yet. I'm sure as the weeks go by he'll finally realize it's not a real horse and 'take off'! I love the fact that it doesn't have springs, but uses heavy duty rubber like some of the weight machines use now. He's a lot less likely to pinch his fingers - or mine for that matter!

I bought this product for my grandson's first birthday party. It was a hit! Everyone commented on how great it was and my daughter in law is STILL talking about how it is the coolest toy she has ever seen! Assembly took my son about 10 minutes and my grandson loves it! What a great gift it turned out to be. I knew when I saw it on Walmart.com that I had to have it! As you can see by the picture, my grandson gave it a "thumbs up" even before it was completely assembled!

I bought this for my son's 1st Birthday and we love it. I did not use the seat that came with it so I can't review that part of it, but the horse is so cute and my son loves to sit on it and bounce around all day. He also likes to stand up and hold on to it and push it around the floor. It moves on the floor really easily so it is helping him learn to walk around to. I love the size of this toy. He will be able to ride and play with this for a couple of years.

Santa brought this pony for our 8 month old little boy this Christmas and he loves it!! He laughs and laughs while he's on it. It was very easy to put together and didn't take long at all. It's very sturdy and well made. We are very pleased with it and I hope my son gets a lot of use out of it.

I think that this is a very fine product and it's practical because the toy can still be used as the child ages, just remove the safety guard! The only thing i was perplexed by was that the instructions weren't too clear and a bit vague, also putting the horse together was a bit of a doozy ( the elastics were very tight and we struggled with that, also it wasn't clear that we had to 'jam' or thrust the parts together for them to fit.

Doesn't rock or bounce much

My 12 month old couldn't get it to do anything but enjoyed me rocking and bouncing for him. By the time he was 18 months old, he was too big for the seat and we removed it so he could get on and off on his own. He plays on it a minute or two here and there but is discouraged by the lack of movement for all his efforts. My friend has a much cheaper plastic rocking pony than doesn't bounce but rocks much better and he enjoys that a lot more. Its cute and very sturdy but not that much fun.
