Rich and thick sauce that goes well with any Italian dish. We used ours with spaghetti and it was wonderful. Hubby and daughter had a second helping. Thank you Ragu for making my life easier!

The meat flavor is mild but good. Not only have I used it in spaghetti but also used it on pizza, penne, shells, etc. Also goes beautifully with crusty bread. There's so much it could be used for. My whole family loves Ragu Old World Style Meat Flavored Pasta Sauce and I make sure to keep a few jars in my pantry. YUMMY!! Highly Recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When using a jar pasta sauce in my recipes the flavor and texture of the sauce is what makes or breaks it for me. I used the Old World Style meat flavored sauce by Ragu in my homemade lasagna and it came out amazing. The classic flavors of the herbs and spices were on point and the farm grown tomatoes gives it a fresh, rich taste. The consistency of the sauce was not too thick and not too thin, you do not need to add extra water and the sauce isn't as bold and tangy as I remember it. Overall, the Ragu Old World Style meat flavored sauce it probably one of the best sauces Ragu has put out, the quality is good and a great choice in jar pasta sauce.
I always use this type and brand of sauce since i was a little girl. Because its the same one my mother used when making us food. Still has the same great taste. Makes spaghetti night even more worthwhile. Always enjoyable.
Ragu sauces are the only sauces I buy. I've been eating Ragu sauces since I was a child. I've tried other brands but Ragu is not as sweet and the spices are spot on.
I wondered how it would arrive and was pleasantly surprised. Each item was individually taped and wrapped. I just was amazed. I feel confident on their shipping. Great price and great delivery.

I often make spaghetti because it is easy and I end up throwing the majority of it away because only my 9 year old seems to like it. Now I can make it for her only! The packet was a little hard to tear open. I put it in a bowl and microwaved for a minute and 10 seconds. That was the perfect amount of time. It does not look like the pic on the package (super meaty) bit it tastes so good! I don't eat pasta so I ate it with a cheese tortilla. I will be eating this again for a quick snack!

Bought 2 jars November 11. 2022. At Walmart maple Ave Zanesville Ohio. 2 days ago I opened a jar and poured it on top of a pound of ground sirloin. Well the sauce was spoiled. The smell of rot took over our entire house.
I have ate this for over 30 years. It was the only sauce I would buy; my go-to. Since the company decided to get cute and change recipe with added olive oil, I will never purchase again. You couldn't pay me to eat it! Companies wonder why there is no brand loyalty anymore. This is why! Leave the good s%23! alone! This tastes like olive oil with a hint of tomato. No meat flavor, but jar says meat flavor! It's so greasy! Chef Boyardee is now better than this!!
