Great Swing Set

When I ordered it the shipping estimate was 9 day, It was delivered 3 days later. Cant beat that. We opened and laid out all parts and inventoried everything was there. we were missing 3 bolts,washers,anchors. i bought at store for $4 instead of waiting for them to ship to us. the next day we started and was very thankful for my cordless impact driver. There are tons of nuts,bolts, and lag bolts. the impact driver and drill made this a much faster job. it was pretty easy once the orientation of the set and the directions were understood. check, double check the first part up to squaring the frame. My wife got the parts ready for me while i assembled it. It took about 7 hours total to complete. I am very happy with the quality of the set. Our kids love it.

GENERAL: The color of the wood isn't as yellow as pictured its more of a dark orange/brown which I prefer. It has a lot of fun gadgets for the kids to play with. It took my husband about 2-3 days of working on it a couple hours each day. It was however missing some screws/nails (small parts) that we had to purchase for an additional cost at a local hardware store. The wood is a little cheaper feeling than we were anticipating but overall its a nice product. My 1.5 year old son loves climbing the ladder with assistance. I think this is the perfect set for him to grow into. We bought a baby swing at additional cost for him because it did not come with one and we didn't attach one of the beams on the roof with the sunburst applique. We didn't feel it necessary. I wish it came with a cover for the sandbox as now we have to make something up. This is a good set for smaller backyards. We are very happy we bought a swingset for our yard, we were on the fence because of the cost and the amount of space it would take up in the yard, but it just makes playing outdoors that much easier and more fun for everyone! SHIPPING: I was however very disappointed in the shipping of the set. I wish there was an option to be picked up in stores. Walmart should be responsible for doing their own deliveries instead of contracting it out. The shipping service they used was awful and we had horrible service. Walmart ended up rectifying the problem, but it was stressful. They left the entire set in the middle of the street although it says door to door service its NOT door to door more like DOOR to street (not even driveway/propertyline) so beware, and its extremely heavy, we ended up taking it out of the packaging and carrying the pieces one by one to our backyard. Luckily we had several hours of time that day to unload.

Fun all day

This is a great swing set! My kids love it ages 2 and 5. Lots of fun and very sturdy. Easy to assemble once you organize and lay out all the wood. Took me and my husband 1 afternoon

Gorilla Rambler 1400

Love the play set. Took me and my husband together 20 hours to put together. The packing list is very confusing though. They have two list for the wood and it is split between two boxes, the list is not per box. When we received the boxes they were severely damaged and parts and wood were sticking out everywhere and you could tell some pieces had fallen out and been shoved back in the boxes haphazardly. We feared we would be missing half of the play set, but in the end we were only short about 4 pieces of wood and 4 carriage hex bolts. There was one piece of wood split terribly from being dropped or from a fork lift, not sure. And several pieces scraped pretty bad. The slide had a gash on the top where the child's hand will touch as they slide down. We hope they will replace or repair. It's a beautiful play set, seems to be well made. I don't think it's the manufacturer, I think it's the freight company Walmart uses that damages these so badly, but not sure. I would recommend the set though. It's very nice.
