My 3yr old grandson loves his scooter and I liked it from the beginning especially for that low low price
My grandchildren loved the Mini Mod. It was easy to put together, and is adorable, the only drawback is that after it needs to charged after about four hours of use.
This is great for our 3 year old. It is a little too slow for our 4 year old. I would recommend this item overall.
There are plenty things to like about this little 3 wheeler. But there's one flaw that made it impossible for us to keep. There's no rear Axle. The plastic wheels sit loosly into slots. As long as the kid goes straight the wheels rotate as they should. But the little kids driving this thing don't always go straight. Sometimes kids come to an obstacle and have to scoot the mini mod to the side. When they do that the back wheels come out of their slots and no longer rotate. They get dragged and the slots get damaged because it's very thin walled plastic. Soon the bent plastic interferes with the tire rotating even when going straight. There will probably be a way to easily fix the way the tires mount. But it should work properly when it's brand new, in my opinion, and it doesn't. Also, you'll likely void any warranty when you modify (fix) your mini mod. Now onto the things I like about the mini mod. Great turning radius for tight spaces. You Don't have to take the battery out to charge it. You don't mount it like a motorcycle, you sit on it almost like a chair. It's cute! It's not that noisy. A couple of other things that could be nicer: the hand grips come off. I was constantly pushing them back on (before I returned this). The front wheel is hard plastic. Maybe a rubber strip would have helped with traction. It did ok on all surfaces my kids rode on though (wouldn't try grass or thick shag carpet).
bought 3 for grandchildren Christmas. 1 batteries take to long to charge 2 battery life very short 3 plastic drive wheel doesn't have traction on smooth surfaces 4 no traction on short burr rugs
Had to push the child on it since it didn't charge. Poor quality control.
