Read reviews of other Razor scooters before purchasing this model. Item arrived 2 days earlier than stated so that was great. Box looked like it had been thrown around though, with many holes and tears. Luckily the scooter was not damaged. Assembly was quick, and after charging the batteries as directed, my 9 year old was off. He has used it both on pavement and on the dirt trails near our house and has had no issues. The long charge time (10 hours) is a little too long so we purchased a second set of batteries. Now he will have almost 2 hours of ride time.
This scooter is so much nicer than the others we have purchased. It runs so smoothly and without much effort. My 8 and 10 year olds LOVE it, but it even holds a full-grown adult without a struggle. It works well on both concrete and grass. Happy customer, here!
Easy to assemble. The charge has lasted quite a while. It is a little heavy for our 8 year old but he will be able to manage it as he gets older. Nice speed, not too fast. Good, rugged tires.

I bought this item for my grandson as a Christmas gift and he loves it! He is able to ride in grassy areas as well as paved areas. This is one of the best investments I've made especially for the price.
My son got this from Santa and he loves it. It has nice big tires for unpaved surfaces, which is great because our drive is gravel.
The scooter is great! It goes pretty fast even in the grass. My only complaint is the light on the charger never turns green so you don't know when the battery is fully charged. We used the same charger with a different scooter and it lit up green. So I don't know if there could be something wrong with the sensor in the battery.
We have only had this scooter (open and running) since Christmas morning so that should be factored in to my review as I can't speak to how long it continues to work or runs without problems. I can say that my son was overjoyed by this present. Our neighbors gave the 100 model to their kids which does not go off road on to grass or dirt. This scooter will not be harmed by off road travel so in my mind is more likely to last through my son's somewhat punishing use. He loves the scooter and wants to ride it every day. My daughter and I both hopped on and it is very fun to ride. I was surprised to read how many adults use this for commuting but I can easily see why. One of my son's friends came over and he could not get the hang of it, just doesn't have the balance or hand/eye coordination yet for something that goes this fast (he is 8 as well). I think you have to take into consideration if this is for a a child - if your kid has balance and for example can easily use a regular scooter. The only thing that has been an issue to date has been that the scooter can't be outside when the temp is less than freezing. Our garage is obviously not heated so not exactly sure of the temps in there but since it's been in the teens outside, I was afraid to keep the scooter in there. So, we've had a rather large, heavy scooter residing in our kitchen for the last 2 weeks. I wish I would have known in advance of this so I could have come up with a solution outside to address but it still would not have stopped my from buying. I also got it on sale so feel as though I got a good deal for the price. The cord to charge the battery is a little hard to locate and doesn't go in easily every time I will say. Overall am very happy with purchase and would highly recommend for those special presents that are high in reaction once received.
We received the scooter a day ahead of scheduled delivery, but the packaging was roughed up during shipping. The scooter looked to be in good shape, but was missing the valve extender used to inflate the rear tire. Razor.com will be sending us a new one shortly. As for the scooter itself, this one is high quality as you would expect from Razor, with good power to go through grass and dirt with ease. My granddaughter is still a little leery of the speed, but her 12 yr. old friend rode it and she loved it. There is alot to like about this scooter and I would purchase it again.
