I was looking for a analog face clock, I am near sited and squinting at the digital displays on clock radios while lying in bed I cannot focus the difference between 3/8/0/9/6 since they all look similar, until I get close enough. I was actually scrutinizing the Sangean RCR-3, but paying $100 wasn't worth it for similar features. This little RCA clock fit the bill and has been really nice. You have choice between analog and digital, 2 wake up times, the face is more blue than the pix, it has a dimmer knob. It does have tuner knob for the radio - speaker is mono but good clarity, its compact and I like the retro design. Figuring out how to use it is very user friendly. You can plop in a 9V battery for back-up when power goes out. It has a small silver button on front to stop the radio when using snooze bar (which runs across the top of the radio) My only "con" on it was the FM antenna is in the cord, it receives stations okay, but I have to raise the cord up (I have it tied under a lamp). If you're the type that doesn't like bright displays, your not going to like this, I do since I'm the last one to bed and can see my way. And oh, I love that I can lie in bed and see the hands and know their position to the exact time !
I loved this product at first. However after less than 3 months of use, the volume dial broke. Very disappointing. Should have listened to the reviews.
works some times volume never works knob broken from open box sale,wasrnt worth paying just a few dollars less than new.
Is a nice, classic clock. Simple. The only thing i dont ls that is all plastic. I wish it was metal. But otherwise is a nice alarm clock and radio.
I really liked the way this clock looked. The glowing face is really cool. Unfortunately, the volume dial was broken upon arrival, so we had to return the clock.
Like previous reviewer, we also received clock with broken volume button--on very high setting...very disappointing since we like the look of the clock and would like to see one that works.
I bought this clock for work because I needed something with a radio and an input for my mp3 player. Within a month or two, the display burned out. A few weeks later, the volume stopped working, like everyone else's. My dad took it apart for me, but it was basically unfixable - the result of cheap plastic highly breakable parts. Very much not worth the money. :(
