Simple one person install, assuming you have the basic garage tools. I used a ratchet tie down to lift the lower control arm into position when reassembling. Lots of YouTube videos to refer to. Add about $100 for a front end alignment after you are done with the install.
I bought and installed this kit 10 months ago and I am so far very pleased with it. It took me 8 hours to install by myself in my driveway and I would say I have basic mechanics tools and moderate experience. I put it on my 2012 Ram 2500 and I am able to have 35” tires but not quite the full steering capability as they rub when it's hard over either way. The only thing I had to get was an alignment as the steering wheel was off to one side after the install. I would highly recommend this as it's extremely good value.
Great lift for the price.
Installed on my 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road without any problems. Looks amazing and rides better than ever! Had a mechanic install and do alignment in 3 hours!!
Last 60,000 miles no problems. Extend rear dL or get ladders. U joints are a constant, it is a dodge. Front live drive got a competitors control arms and track bar. Gonna do it, do it right. Great first step, has never failed me, third truck. All get 100,000 miles a year
Nubs that center the rear lift blocks on the leaf packs were too big. Had to slowly grind away wuite a bit of material evenly to get them to fit. NOT something I should have had to deal with. After that it was fine. Had I not had the means or the forced patience by a deadline to modify the lift blocks, this kit would have been un-useable on my stock truck. Makes me very hesitant to even consider their products again if they missed something easy like that.
