I live in my Wrangler... I have lost a considerable amount of weight the past year due to a health situation. All my khakis and slacks are 2" to 3" too large, therefore my trusty Wranglers are my dress of necessity daily. I wear them with Tee shirts to sport coats depending on the occasion. I currently have 4 pair that fit (have about a dozen that are too large in storage), looking forward to being able to afford getting 2 or 3 more pairs so I don't have to wash as frequently as I do now. I LOVE MY WRANGLERS, I haven't bought Levi's for years... Wranglers are far above Levi's quality and comparatively a true price performer. I can get 3 pair of Wranglers for the price of one pair Levi's. I rest my case!
Excellent condition and thickness and color. Better than jeans three times the price. Great selection of waist sizes as well. For the odd numbers like my size 35 waist 34 length.
While my sizing of 38 x 38 is a little tight to begin with, the material relaxes and is quite comfortable to wear. The material weight is not so high as to make the material stiff. I would have preferred the Stonewashed version but is was unavailable at the time. Perhaps Wrangler will increase production or offer an option to order for delivery when available.
I have bought several pairs off these jeans over the years. I needed to have a couple pairs replaced but couldn't find the time to deal with it working so many hours. I hate that I can only buy the flex ones locally. And feel the quality is down from the past. But still good. I have a pair now that are just a couple months old. That ripped by brushing against something.
I really didn't care for them at all because they were too tight and a crotch when you sit down and I've also gotten used to the flex genes which appear to be much more comfortable. I am looking for a regular pair of flex jeans that are not too tight in the crotch when you sit.
Nice fit when new, comfortable but if you use the back pocket to put your wallet in for example expect the fabric at the upper corners of the pockets to start tearing after only a few months. Every pair of these I have do the same, this review was brought on due to a pair I had bought less than a month ago had already started splitting at the upper corner of the back pocket then the next time I wore them it split all the way alongside the pocket. Usually it takes a few months before they start splitting at the corners but when they start that quickly it seems either there is a bad batch or the material used is being made less durable.
I have 3 pairs of wrangler jeans that fit perfectly I made sure I ordered the same style. and size Yet, when the two pairs of jeans arrive I could not even come close to buttoning them And I returned the jeans but money was deducted from my credit and it was necessary to take them to the shipper. Very unhappy - I did the right thing to specify the style and size, I had to pay for Wrangler's mistake, and I had to return the product. Tell me again why money was deducted from my credit and what information justifies the deduction.Dmad
These are the only jeans I've worn for 15+ years, but they don't fit the same now. Ordered twice recently, thinking the first order was a bad "batch", but like others have experienced, the fit is very different than it used to be even though the model number is the same. This new version has a shorter rise, pockets that are difficult to get your hand into, probably related to how tight they feel across the hips now. Not sure what model/brand to buy now, but this is no longer my go-to jean.
Bought 3 pair of these jeans a little over a yr ago Dec 2017. Model no. 97601VR nice heavy material, fit good in the waist and seat, pockets were easy to get my hand in. So, i just ordered 2 new pair and got them a couple wks ago, what a disappointment!! Material feels very thin, seat of pants are tight and uncomfortable, and I can barely get my hand in the pockets. Evidently there were some changes made to this model number of jeans. Seems if they were making changes they would change the model number so that you would not think you would be getting the same jeans that you'd been wearing.
I ordered these jeans because I had had good experiences with them buying them from a store, and so I figured these would be the same, if not better. Boy was I wrong. Within a month of casual use, both pairs I ordered experienced large tears along the back pockets, making both unwearable. These tears occurred naturally through wear, not from getting caught on any object. I am very dissapointed in a brand that claims to be work jeans.
