This is an awesome product! I have very thick and curly hair so with my old straightener it took 30-45 minutes to straighten and now it takes a maximum of 20 minutes!! RECOMMEND TO ALL!!
I have curly hair ... and i was looking for a straightener that will get hot and straighten fast ... and this is the best straightener i ever bought. Before, I purchased like 4 straighteners but I wasnt happy with them ... Great Straightener !!! Recently I relaxed my hair and for little touch ups .. it's Awesome !!!
bought for 14 yr old daughter. She absolutely loves the product. Easy to use, does not take several times to get a section straight.
I was simply blown away by this product. I purchased this because my sister broke my $200 salon flat iron and was amazed. It works SO much better! It cut my hair styling time more than in half and it leaves my hair looking sooo healthy. Before, it was extremely dry and it actually improved the health of my hair! It's also extremely easy to use and I figured it out in seconds. I also love the temperature display which allows me to select the exact temperature I want and it even shows what temperature it's at while it heats up[in seconds]. It's by far the best flat iron i have ever used and i LOVE it. This is the perfect flat iron and I strongly recommend it for anybody.
ive had this straightner for 4yrs now and i love it, it straightens perfectly and the curls i get are amazing, after 4yrs im now in the market for a new staightner and i am more then likely going to buy the same straightner and if not it will def. be in the remington family. you will not be disappointed in this product. this is the first straightner ive had for 4yrs straight and i use it everyday, it heats up fast and i have thick hair and its pin straight in 20min. i have recommended this product to all my friends.
I absolutely love this product. Before I purchased it I read all the previous reviews and I decided to buy it. Before this one I had a Hot Tools one and I have to say this one works just as good if not better. I love that it only takes 60 seconds to heat up. The only minor problem I found with it is the blades do not touch but if you hold them together it works great. I would recommend this product to anyone. I laugh because my sisters went out and bought Chi's and I spent $50 and mine works just as good.
i've had a lot of straighteners and usually replace them about every two years give or take a couple months. I like this one because it gets really hot really fast.. and it also cools down if you manually turn down the heat. I have fine hair but i have a lot of it so i need the higher heat settings wether it's good for my hair or not. The only thing i dislike about this straightener is that it lacks many options and the "+ and -" buttons are kind of small and aren't in a good place (i accidentally hit them all the time when I'm using it). Over all, though, it's pretty good and over the many other straighteners that walmart carries, this one is definitely one of the best and worth the extra $15 from the average $30 dollar straightener.
I've had a bunch of straighteners in the last 5 years. This one was similar to all of them. I liked that I could choose the temperature I wanted. The plates seemed to heat up evenly, and got really hot. It was smooth when it went through my hair. I only had one problem with it, but it was a HUGE problem for me--like the other reviewers, the two plates on my straightener did not come together completely. My hand got way too sore after only a few passes through my hair. I have relatively thin hair, so having plates that don't touch doesn't work in my hair. Maybe this would be a good product for someone with thick hair, but I am returning it tomorrow.
this snagged my hair.the plates didnt reach all the way and it pulled my hair and didnt completly straighten it. However,it did heat up really fast and it straightened just fine. But im still returning it b/c i dont think its worth the hair snagging pain. I got it b/c it looked good and worth the price [it was on sale for only $33.] so yea.....my advice would be to pick another one.
i was disappointed with this product, i ordered it online as a replacement to an iron i had that was getting old. i used it a twice and returned it, im not sure if it was just my product but the two sides did not come together completely, which it turn did not straighten my hair. also, the buttons to change the temp are in an inconvenient place, i kept hitting them while doing my hair, so the temp didnt stay consistent.
