Wish I had bought this a long time ago! Heats fast, lightweight and such a time saver in the morning! You can't go wrong with this product.
I just bought this straightener a few days ago and I used it the day I got home. My hair stayed straight for such a long time! I was stupid and bought this in the store. . .this is the best hair styler I saw in the store. It's cheaper online so just click "Add to Cart" and call it a day! I LOVE IT! :)
well i went into ulta not knowing anything flat irons, since my fav color is pink is seemed like the perfect one. i had heard of ceramic straighteners and it would be perfect for not everyday use. i have used it once so far and when it says it heats up in 30 sec, it HEATS up, no matter if you have it at the lowest setting (310). i love this.. i even followed the DVD that came with the straightener for that "Perfect Style" lol. Gosh i love this thing.! btw since i have a wavy-curly texture like (yes im black) it gets my hair super straight (if i want it like that) or just straight enough that you see my natural texture.
I bought this straightener because my old one was a peice of junk. I used my christmas money to buy this, and my hair was super curly that day because i had got it done. So it was curly, hairsprayed, and it still made it totally straight. Best part? It heats up in like 20 seconds, and it has and automatic shut off, so there is no worrying if you left it on. It burns none of your hair, and in case you were wondering, i have blonde highlighs and the straightener doesnt effect them at all. I would recommend this product for a straightener that works well and makes you sure nothing bad could happen if left on.
I purchased this product for my teen daughter who wants only the "best" for her hair. Well the "best" is over $100 so I did my research and decided to buy this styler. Not only was it a HUGE hit with my daughter, I bought myself one and now her friends want their moms to buy it for them. It heats up under a minute and it is a once through styler with immediate desired results. It also allows you to curl or "style" as you go so not only can you straighten your hair, you can also add curves and body.
I had finally retired my Wet2Straight flat iron and decided to get one of these. Best choice ever! The W2S was amazing but he was beat by his younger cousin lol. Only thing I don't like is the iron plates are a light pink. So girly of a color. And if you've dyed your hair recently a dark color, it's most likely going to stain the plates and it just looks straight up dirty! As a matter of fact for anything it gets stained. I've tried wiping it off but failed miserably. Besides that, I LOVE this flat iron. It's quite amazing, and I'm not even exaggerating. Now curls are easy to do and well straightening always was for me anyway lol.
I've had this for a few weeks now and so far I pretty much love it. I haven't tried the curling options yet and the video is pretty hokey and seems unprofessional but it serves the purpose. It feels like a more high end product for a pretty good price. I can't justify spending $100 + on a flat iron. So far my hair doesn't get caught in it and I love that. I also really like the digital display and settings. I have pretty fine hair so I set it on the lowest setting and it works well!
When i first plugged in the iron...it already smelled like the plates were burnt... like it has already been used for a year.. its heats up fast..but when i put in on maxium heat..it didnt even get that hot..and i have asian hair..it should glide smoothly but it didnt.. it is not worth forty bucks... i bought a 14$ straightner and it worked better... so dont let the pretty pearl box fool you... tomorrow i will be returning it right back to the store...i appreciate the easy use and the presentation of the product..but i need a straightner not a pretty object that doesn work as one.
The straightener itself is not horrible however, the iron consistently breaks my hair off. This happens because it gets stuck in between the plate and handle. Maybe, I just got a lemon but I would not try this if I was you. I now have twice as many "fly-aways" near my part.
I love this flat iron!! I have had 2 of these and both have shorted out after about 6-8 months. I am very disappointed that this has happened to TWO different irons. Funny thing is....I just threw the box and receipt away about 2 monhs ago!!
