I've been getting my legs waxed every six weeks for the past year. This product was nearly half the price of one visit so I took the chance. If you want the pampered feel of the salon, don't buy this because it is work and lots of body contortionist moves (or you can get help with the backs of your legs from another person). Definitely clean those legs before you wax for better removal. In some areas, the hair just really holds on and I do have to make 2-3 passes with the wax. Also, use each strip more than just once. It seems to take more hair off the second and third pass with the same strip - maybe the extra build up of wax on each strip? I used to go to a beauty school to be waxed and they used cloth strips - I might try those when I run out (cheap on-sale cotton fabric). I seem to be running low on wax after my second use so recommend keeping a spare refill on hand. I definitely recommend this product.
I felt in love with this product after first use!!! I used to have wax warmer and wax from Sally Beauty and when I was using that it was complete mess around, took me about an hour to wax my legs. This warmer has great roller which applies the wax very evenly not leaving mess at all. You can remove the wax with the regular water and the the skin doesn't get itchy after. Great product, great quality, great price!!!
Having used the "Goldilocks" method of heating wax in the microwave. Not to hot,not to cold.This means that its usually done in the kitchen? Comfortable for preparing food,but not removing hair yukk. I gave up the"wax of horror" This being all self contained, its virtually spill proof.The wax is perfect temp. Once wax is heated its cordless and good for about 15 min. before re-plugging to rewarm wax! easy roll-on application.The only clean up is disposal of the used cloth strip.Once the storage cap is on its portable and can be used anywhere! So far all good!♥
I really love this product it does what it says it does and it is easy to use. The problem is I can't find anywhere to buy the cloth strips needed unless you buy the wax too.
Easy to handle and clean, though I waited 45min. to heat up properly, which I don't mind as I kept busy with something else in the meantime. Once heated properly, the heating is even and not too hot. The price is affordable, although the wax refill lasted for 1 use only (both arms and legs up to knees) not 8 wax session as described. I wish the wax refills would be cheaper indeed! Satisfied with the results, worked well on both arms and legs, skin remained smooth, non-irritated.
Used it in our personal grooming business. At first it takes a little getting use to. Once you get the hang of it, the hair does come off and quite a bit of too. It warm up pretty quickly, about 15 minutes and it was good to go. Easy to hold and apply. The cord is detachable which is great and was very helpful. Would definitely purchase again. Refills are really reasonable about $5.00 each. Great deal.
Needs more than 20 minutes to heat, but once you get the hang of it, it is great.
I cannot get this to work at all. I let it warm for 45 minutes. The wax is still not warm enough. I tried it twice. The cloth strips do not stick to the wax at all. Not one hair was removed!
I've been looking for a product with all the features this one offers and was thrilled when I found it. After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase it. I used it as soon as it arrived and was extremely disappointed with the quality. The wax leaked and it wasn't easy cleanup, but more importantly, the wax and the strips removed absolutely no hair. Yes, the wax was thoroughly heated. The pre-waxed cloth strips on the market do a tremendous job. Do not buy this product! Is it returnable because I'd really like my money back!
This product was awful. It did not warm the wax up nearly enough to work properly despite following the directions and letting it warm up longer as allowed. Returning.
