I bought this to seal artifacts found while metal detecting, that's what it was basically designed for and it works perfectly for that purpose.
I learned of Renaissance Wax from Jerry Rosa at Rosa String Works. He uses it on most of the instruments he builds and repairs. It works just as he said. Fantastic.
This wax slides on very easily. A little goes a long way.
I use this to keep my copper jewelry conditioned.
The Renaissance Wax went on very easily and smooth, really brought out the grain and shine of the wood surface. Am very pleased with this product.

Best thing to protect knife blades
Have only used it once and was not hugely impressed. That opinion may improve with other efforts and over time. Pretty expensive, however.
