I got this for my seven-year-old son who is starting to take an interest in geography. This globe is durable and affordable, and looks pretty cool on the bookshelf. Great value for the price.
This globe was purchased for a child whose dad has served 2 tours in Iraq and is heading for Afghanistan. The little guy is very bright and asks whee these places are so I wanted the globe to be able to show him the world. I was very pleased with the product and I couldn't afford the extra money for quick shipping, but it got here for Christmas which was very special. Your service was excellent and I will shop WalMart on line again.
This is exactly what I was looking for. My son loves it. I looked for this at Christmas time. I could not find it anywhere. The walmart website was great & when I picked it up the young lady was very helpful.
The World Globe was exactly what I wanted. It was purchased for my 11 year old grandson. The markings were clear and easy to read. The colors were bright making the countries and states within the USA easy to locate. The cost was very reasonable and the globe was shipped to the store so that I did not have to pay shipping cost. I am a very satisified customer.
I have a 10 year old Grandson that fell in love with my globe and FINALLY found one at WalMart.
The construction on this globe is all plastic and for this price I expected better quaility. Purchased for my great-grandson who is 6 years old.
Bought it for my fifth grader for geography. Very pretty globe. The stand is plastic and light, the globe is of a cardboard construction (as they normally are). The seams are together well and the mountain ranges are raised. We like it and have no issue with quality.
My 5 year old asked for one for Christmas and this is the least expensive one I could find, and it wasn't cheap. So I was disappointed that it was made out of folded cardboard and thin plastic. And the equator sticker is already coming off. But he loves it and it serves the purpose. Guess I'm just being picky. I had a metal one growing up and I know it has been around 40 year or more. I don't see this one lasting more than a couple.
It was a little flimsy, when it arrived the stand was broken.
The globe looked nice, but where the 2 halves met in the middle was a gap that I couldn't fix.
