For a refurbished model you can't tell the difference! Everything is basically new and no issues to date
Bought refurbished 16 BG for dad's Father's Day . I loaded it with weather apps and his email and set up his FaceTime with all us kids and his sisters. I was able to download all the apps I had bought for my IPads onto his by using my Apple ID. If I think he would like an App. I can buy it and he can download from the cloud!! How awesome is that!. He will be surprised how much he will use his Ipad. This refurbished ipad came in the original box in a plastic bag. With a note saying it was refurbished. The charger was absolutely brand new. I charged it and updated it and changed the wallpaper and it has a place foe a SIM card which I don't know anything about. The screen was covered with a protector sheet and it was in perfect condition. I bought a survivor case by Griffen and with great effort I went ahead and installed it. Doesn't fit as good as I had hoped but it's awesome protection. Very Pleased with my deal. I hope your refurbished Ipad is as good as mine!

Product works and looks great, Walmart should have stated in description that it only comes with a 90 day warranty from a third party.
The unit was received without the slightest mark on it. After researching the serial number I found it has been previously purchased back in March 22 2014. The unit must have been returned to the store and made its way to the .com hub of walmart where a lot of returned goods are seemingly resold. The unit still had the balance of 1 year factory warranty. Apple was very good with providing this information. However I will say that walmart.com has absolutely no price logic. Hence I returned this item Retina Version 4 16GB AT&T REFURBISHED $379.00 when just a week to the day later I found on walmart.con for the price of $399.00 Retina Version 4 64GB AT&T NON REFURBISHED BRAND NEW UNIT! a mere 20 bucs more than this one. Amazing price logics indeed! Makes no sense but for a smart shopper a HOME RUN! Thanks Walmart.
Got it Wed. evening and returned it Thurs. morning. I must have asked for and received about 10 emails from apple to reset my password. The new password worked one time and then I got the message "don't recognize your password." Finally I got tired of the aggravation, returned it to factory condition and packed it up. Fortunately the Walmart stores take it back and you don't have to mail it. Guess that is worth 1 star. You have 15 days to do it.
