I currently have and have loved using Google Wi-Fi. However, adding an additional one gave me complete stronger coverage in my home.
Works great. It was easy to set up. I pay for 50 Mbps. Uploading was around 30 mbps and download speeds were even less. However, with the Google Wifi, my devices are now consistently uploading and downloading at speeds 60 Mbps or more. It's made a big difference. We've had our mesh points for about 2 weeks now and we all agree that our speed has increased. I was finally able to backup my phone to the cloud because of better wifi speed and connectivity.
We had intermittent WiFi outages and bought this a little over a month ago to replace our router. We have one on 2nd story, one on main level, and one in basement. We have had consistent WiFi strength ever since. We have 5 + devices, video games, streaming, etc.
Simple solution to home WiFi headaches. With a few of these we now have a consistently strong and fast connection everywhere in our house.
This is an amazing product and I would highly recommend anyone with WiFi connectivity issues to get it. I was contemplating punching holes in my drywall and running Ethernet wires all over my home, but this product saved me time, effort and money. Super easy to install and works like a breeze, and now I have internet all over my home. Thanks Google for making a great product!
Out of all the mesh networks I've tried, this one is simply amazing. Nothing has even come close, including the Netgear Orbi. It's blazing fast, the mesh network is crazy strong, and I've never dropped to low signal. It's pricey, but it's totally worth every penny.
