What a great find! I have been using Revlon products for a few years and have never been disappointed. I have been looking for a new styler that I can use for the many different styles I wear, this one does it all. I highly recommended watching the instructional video that is provided, it was a big help.
I have this straightener & it works fine on me. I tried it on my niece who has CURLY hair & It turned out to be really straight. It does pull hair once or twice but other then that it's great :]
My friend brought her's over when I was going to do her hair and from that moment on, I had to have one!!! Being Black, this product works extremely well on our hair. The ability to adjust the heat settings for thick, course hair, makes it an exceptional buy!!!
I love it! It straightens my hair exactly like I want it. I have a chin lenght layered bob and this straighten works amazing on it. Granted, it did pull my hair when I first used it but Now that I have a hang on it I can do it with ease. It flips my hair up amazingly too. Its a little hard to curl it bt thats because my hair is so short if it were longer it would be easy too. I would totally recommend this for someone else.
ok. so im only 13& this was my first straightner ever. i got it this summer(: i have poofy, wavy- ish hair, and it straightens pretty well. however, it curls horribly. since its kind of 'squared' it gives a dent in your curls, if you know what i mean. i just use my curling iron if i want to curl. but anyways it straightens nicely. if you dont wanna spend too much money, and you want a good one, get this. alot of people said that this isnt good, but it really is. no joke.
Looks like a great buy, but it pulls your hair out. Your hair catches on little areas around the ceramic plates and one other place that sticks up. And if that wasn't bad enough...doesn't heat well either. You can't read the settings for temp. Should be sold in dollar stores,if that!
Don't even bother wasting your time or money with this product. I got this product thinking it would be great and versatile because it is supposed to curl and straighten, but it does neither. I used it first on my daughter, who has straight and thin hair, and it did not curl her hair at all. I then tried curling my hair, which is wavy and medium thickness, and all it did was emphasize the waviness in my hair for about 20 minutes and then all signs I had done anything to my hair were gone. I also tried straightening my hair with this, but I just looked like my normal self no matter how many settings I tried this on. Just save up your money and buy a decent styling product. This is completly horrible.
This product was a complete waste of money for me. It is supposed to curl and straighten but it does neither. The curls look crinkled because of the round edge and flat edge. Even on the hottest setting it won't straighten my hair because it doesn't hold the hair well. It constantly rips out my hair. Also, if you set it down on your countertop while on it will burn the countertop. I know someone with the conair version of this product and hers works much better than this one.
Do not use this product!! While it heats up promptly and has the potential to work well, there are rough areas around each end of this item where your hair can get caught. I only used this item twice before I threw it away because my hair kept getting caught in the edges.
Horrible. I cannot stress it enough. I had bought a defective Andis so I returned it. Then I thought I would go with Revlon; afterall I had owned a Revlon straightner for years and I loved it. I don't know what Revlon has done with this but it's product is beyond pathetic. The heat setting goes up to 25 but it still does not straighten hair, it leaves it very frizzy. Maybe I could deal with the frizz, but not with losing my hair. It pulls it all the time. My old Revlon didn't do that but this one does. My advice to you is save your money and buy something else.
