My hair is quite long . And the hair iron still made my hair curve and is gets ready very fast
It was better than I expected, I love the quick heat the fact it goes up to **** degrees and also has a quick cool down. The swivel cord feature is awesome. And it's light weight. It's perfect and the price was right!
Does the job. I miss the old style. It's hard to find 1.5 size irons. It's stiff and doesn't curl as smooth as the previous model. It may need time to break in. I only buy the revlon brand. I searched for other brands but couldn't find anything similar. Hopefully it will last. I attached a picture of the old one beside the new one.
I like this as the ceramic is easier on my fine hair. However, The ceramic easily scratches off. This then burns my hair. Had to replace multiple times. Time to find another brand.
Doesn't get as hot as it say but, it does an okay job considering the price. If you're on a budget this would be an iron I would recommend. If you can afford a better one, get that instead.
I bought this about 18 months ago and it worked great. But then I found that my hair product was causing the surface to get sticky. As it built up on the surface it actually "baked" on it. I tried using nail polish remover, then a scrubbing sponge with Dawn then finally a knife to actually scrape it off. I've had to do this often enough that the coating has worn off. Doesn't ANYONE make one with a Teflon surface ???
DO NOT BUY! Made poorly! The thumb lever does not withstand the heat of iron. I had to pull my hair out because could not open it.
The iron doesn't fit tight on the rod and the hair slips right through it. Useless. Would have sent back but had thrown the box away. Now will throw the curling iron away I guess!!!
First time I went to go use this curling iron, (mind you I have other revlon curlers and hairdryers) THE HANDLE THAT OPENS THE CLAMP IS BENDING as I try to get my hair out, making for very difficult styling. I did not make any amateur mistakes only used some heat protector before using. BUYER BEWARE if you're looking for an iron and you don't want to toss after a couple uses then MOVE ON THIS IS NOT THE ONE FOR YOU OR I. I am back in the market for a quality 1/2 inch curling iron.
Most important part of order cancelled a week later, when I was expecting delivery . Should have been notified sooner so I could get a timely replacement elsewhere
