this takes awhile to get the hang of, I have yet to master it my it was bought for my son and he his brother have mastered the ripstik and they have a blast with it!! everyone that comes over wants a try on it. I t is definitly a different and fun product
Bought this for my 12-yo son for Christmas when it went on sale at Walmart.com. Shipped fast. My son is a quick study but he did take the time to watch the instructional DVD that came with this so he could get moving faster. It helped. Within 10 minutes he was off and hasn't stopped since. Would highly recommend riders of any age wear hand guards though since falling does happen and this will protect wrists and hands from hard landings. He loves it! And it takes up less room in the garage than a bike. Since not much snowboarding is done in Houston, this is the next best thing. Two thumbs up.
I was impressed with the quality of the board. It was bigger and heavier than I expected; was a bit concerned that someone might get hurt. After watching the kids for awhile I relaxed, they apparently had been practicing. They really enjoyed this item.
Great for kids who have mastered inline skating and are good at skateboarding. Great exercise for hips and waist. Good colors and durable.
We purchased the ripstick for my daughters birthday. It was definetely money well spent. She rides it every day. It is very durable and gives her hours of excersis and fun. I highly recommend this product to anyone.
We bought this product for our 10 year old daughter, thru walmart.com and everything was wonderful. We received it on the day they said, nicely packaged and in great condition. We would definetly (and have) recommend this to anyone that needs a ripstik.
My son wanted a ripstik that was different from his friends. So we go online and found this green one and all of his friends were envious. He loves it!
A well-built, unusual skateboarding product. My kid will love it--once he gets the hang of it. Looks like a lot of fun, as you don't have to keep kicking with your foot to keep it going! A bit pricey, but this one was cheaper than others. The good news is that it included a short how-to DVD---a MUST---showing how to get started, how to stop, how to ride, and excellent safety tips. The ad did not say it would include the DVD; it just showed up in the package.
My son has been wanting one of these for a year now. I finally got him one for Christmas and this one is too big. He is 6, he does okay on it but I wish it would have listed sizes when I was shopping for them. This one is bigger so be aware before buying.
This product is GREAT but it is very hard to use and this is only a very little concern. I tried it myself and I couldn't figure out how to ride it . Once I wacthed the vidio that came with it that helped a little but once you get the hang of it this is a awsome product.
