So I bought this for the main purpose of getting the wrinkles out of my new comforter. It worked beautifully and got rid of the wrinkles with just one swoop. Haven't used it on clothing yet but I'm sure it will be just fine. It heated up just like it said in 2 minutes. Follow the directions and keep the steamer on the floor because, like they said, it does get VERY hot. I am very happy with this purchase.

Fast and effective for 10x13 foot photo background

I used this to remove horrible wrinkles in my photography background muslin cloth. It took about 20 minutes and 1/3 of a gallon of water. It was like magic, Good results, almost as smooth as an ironing board, but in 1/5 the time. I also used this for pants and shirts, but it is harder to work around buttons and other things that aren't smooth. Seems best for large flat items like sheets.

Great steamer to have at home

The steamer gets very hot, which makes it press out nice. We had to put a shower curtain on the door to be able to have a firm backing (similar to an ironing board) for creasing. You can steam the back of the garment from the front without flipping it over which saves a lot of time. I had to wear a glove to protect my hand, so that I can work very close to my garment. My husband didn't have to wear a glove. Be very careful not to fill past the max line, because it will make the steamer leak out water along with the steam. It's nice to be able to prepare several garments to have them ready to wear. We're looking forward to seeing how it works on the drapes, sofa, and freshening up our car seats. It stores nicely in the closet. We won't be using our iron much anymore!

Really nice steamer

I've used it only once but it seems like a really nice steamer. Read the manual before using and take producer's tips in consideration and you shouldn't have any problems. I've read one review that was saying "steamer suddenly stopped working in the middle of the process, so I turned it off and returned it", it happened to me too and only meant that hose got clogged up with condensation and needed a few minutes of rest. Give it a try and you'll be satisfied and READ MANUAL :-)

I regret being so skeptical for so long. This is the greatest invention ever! I had no idea just how powerful steam is. Clothes are almost instantly and effortlessly "ironed". I actually look forward to leaving our clothes looking like just out of the cleaners. This machine is easy to operate. Just remove the hose, add water. Connect to electric outlet, attach the hose again, put the machine on the floor, press the "on" button, wait about a minute and start usting as soon as you see the steam coming out of the head. All you have to do is hang the garment and "caress" it with the steamer head. In about three minutes, you are done! Another awesome plus is that you can steam your curtains, refresh your pillows, etc. and it comes with clever attachments. The one I like the most is the one that makes beautiful creases. When done, just turn off the power, take off the hose, disconnect and empty the water container.

Purchased steamer to do wedding attire for a recent family wedding. All the clothing arrived wrinkled to our hotel which I knew would happen. I had the forethought to buy this on the way to the wedding. Didn't take too long, but everything looked great on everyone.

Only had this for a few weeks but so far so good. I bought it to use for steaming my suits which are jammed tight in small space. The steamer does spit a litle and I have had some items be a little wet but overall it seems to do the job for the money.

Great for those who hate to iron!!

I absolutely hate ironing, especially delicate materials like satin an silk. This steamer immediately takes wrinkles out of fine fabrics! It looks just as good as from the dry cleaners without the outrageous costs! It doesn't work as well on thick fabrics, like polos or khaki pants. However, I would definitely recommend it for any delicate clothing. It's much faster than an iron and looks just as good if not better!

For the price, it's decent. I've never owned a steamer before so don't have anything to which I can compare it. It gets wrinkles out of my sweaters effectively, not as effective with my husband's dress shirts/pants. It drips a bit at times because the hose is really long so it is near impossible to have it totally vertical the entire time. It was cheap enough that I'll keep it and use it for sweaters. But if it broke I wouldn't run out to buy another.
