I bought these curtains and I am very happy. I didn't relize though that they don't come with a valance. The pictures makes it look like it does. They definitely do the trick, my room is much cooler. Do buy them.
I bought 4 of these curtains. They are wonderful. They block out the sun, heat and cold. I would recommend these to anyone and will definately buy more in the future.
I love these drapes. I work very weird shifts and these help immensely when sleeping during the day. They cut out the noise and darken the bedroom to night like conditions. I highly recommend them.
I love the Roc-Lon curtains. They are truly black out curtains - no light comes through the fabric.
I was being waken up every morning at 6AM by a tractor trailor. I work second shift. I get to sleep about 1AM and was not happy with this neighborhood annoyance. I bought one Eclipse blackout curtain at Walmart. It measured 84". I could only use it at one window because of the length, but boy, what a difference! That tractor trailer noise doesn't wake me anymore. I bought these Ron-Loc's because I needed 63" curtains for the other windows. They don't seem quite as good as the Eclipse but there is a noticeable difference in light, temperature and noise in the room. The color was exactly as seen on the site. I feel it was a good purchase.
Nice solid heavy material. It does block out light, but don't expect miracles with blocking sound. Looks nice, but definitely would look much better with a valance.
I bought this curtain for our bedroom because my husband works nights so he needs to sleep during the day. We finally just put up the curtain today and he was amazed that the curtain let no light in. He is going to be able to sleep so much better now.
