the curtain does block out the light, I live in an apartment complex that has a light right outside of my window that kept me awake. Since purchasing this product, my room seems like a new room! It did an amazing job of blocking out the light. I wish that I would have ordered 2 because it does not quite cover my window...I bought a curtain scarf and it looks awesome!
Our home has very large windows, which we love, however at night much light comes in. My husband and I purchased these drapes for our room and they work great! They block out all the light and they look great too! We love them so much, we're buying a set for my 4 year-old son's room. In a few months, we'll buy another set for the baby we're planning to have =) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
product has cheap plastic look/feel to it, but blocks out light well enough to keep. *do NOT purchase for a well-decoarated/upscale room.*
