Although it was quite difficult and time consuming to put together, my 4 yr old son loves this toy and uses it all the time. It is inside for now (a bit cold for outside) and it does take up a lot of room. It is very well made and sturdy.
Our grandson loved the tractor but he was a little to small to peddle it, so he had to be pushed around on it . For his next birthday we bought him the John Deere power loader. He loves them both and rides and digs all summer and spring when weather is permitting. Would recommend to buy.
This was the best gift we could have ever gotten for our sons fourth birthday. I had read all of the reviews prior to purchasing it and felt it would be worth the money. It really is a great investment. I chose this over the battery operated jeeps because my daughter used to have one of them and they are not as useful. With this toy he does so much creative play and can be his active self! We love it, he loves it, his 9 year old sister loves it, and all the neighborhood kids love it, too! It took dad about 1 1/2 hours to assemble with out putting all of the stickers on. It is worth the time and money.
It's a big toy that our son insists on using inside, but it does not have a great turning radius to make it around the living room the way he wants it to!!!LOL!!! Fantastic for digging, a bit of a lenghty process to put together (we let our 3 year old "help") but worth it!! Our son loved to put it together just as much or even more than playing with it afterwards!!! He nearly fell over from lack of sleep from feverishly putting it together and playing with it!!!! He finally "collapsed" at 2 am... Most rewarding gift a parent can give their little boy...Sturdy, Awesome, and will stay with us for a very long time!!! Plays with it everyday!!!
My two boys ages 2 and 5 both loved receiving this toy for Christmas. They play outside with it, even in the dead of winter. I can't wait to see the fun they will have when summer comes. It's light-weight, but sturdy, and was not too complicated to put together....maybe 2 hours. My 2 year old cannot yet pedal...he will have to grow into it a bit. But they still have fun with it!
We love the product. . .very sturdy and durable. It handles the actions of one tough 3 year old with no problem. Only 2 negatives and they weren't really a big deal. . .the directions are not written out; they are all pictures and it took me a while to figure it out(about 2 hours to put it together) and it take a few times to figure out how to get the backhoe in the back to store & come out, but that comes after a while too. The plus side my son loves the outdoors and this just make him the happiest kid. . .it's freezing cold out but he doesn't care, he just wants to play on his tractor!!
This product is VERY well made and our 2 1/2 year old son loves it! He knew exactly how to operate the front loader as well as the digger with no problems at all. The maker (Rolly Toys) is a company I definately would buy from again.
This was a Christmas gift for my 4 year old. It keeps both my 7 and 4 year old boys busy for hours in the backyard. They both love it. Important note: Allow for 2 adults, 3 hours assembly time. Instructions in German. Thank goodness for pictures.
Choose it because it was not motorized. These children have alot of energy and need to work it out. i loved that the gear section came pre-assembled. The other just fit together excellently. high German quality and workmanship. The children loved it too.
